Part 1: The maps below show Pancha Village in 2005 and 2015.

The map indicates the radical changes that took place in a small town called Pancha
Village in two years, including 2005 and 2015.

Overall, the (basic) town is/was converted into a better-organized and urbanized area
with the addition of more education and religion-based facilities and better transporation
routes over the given period.

(and the removal of/ the reduction in the green areas)

with (integration with technology and road system, in addition to the expansion of
education and religion over the give period.

Looking at the map of Pancha in 2005, in the center, the village had ( a dirty ) a path in
poor condition stretching from South to North, which was transformed into (turning )
into a 2-lane high way lined with road sign and traffic lights to the East and plenty of
electricity poles to the West (in) a decade later. As can be seen clearly in the bottom left
corner of the village, ( there was a magic/ dramatic change in shopping institution with
large-scale building) the market was neatly re-arranged into 2 rows of buildings running
parallel to each other. In addition, two telecommunicate / telecommunications towers was
/ were constructed (reserved for ) to meet the demand of signal transmission (throughout
the village.) for the whole area.

(In terms of residential and utilities)

In addition, in 2005, there was/were ( a connection with some architectural works,
namely ) a few ( humble) houses in both sides of the path, as well as two pagodas on the
right and two primary schools in / on the top right corner with basic facilities. However,
by/ in the year 2015, the education-based sites witnessed a significant expansion of new
installed secondary school instead of ( dominated) the only primary school sited in the
North Eastern part (at first) in the initial surveyed year. In addition, the rows of 2 houses
sandwiched between the primary school and the pagodas were knocked down, leaving
only one located in proximity to the traffic sign (Past residential, which originally existed
to between of education and religion area with three houses, became only one along the
east side) . It is noticeable that the majority of households switched from using antennae
to satellites. On the other hand, the maintaining ones / buildings to the right of the road
still remains/ remained untouched ( in the other side) . Besides, one extra pagoda was
built in the south east of the urban area in 2015 = the south east of the urban area
witnessed the addition of a newly-built pagoda..

Part 2: Some people say that economic growth is the only way to end hunger and
poverty. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is true that financial development (is becoming an essential feature of global life up to
day) is an indispensable part in the revolution of humankind. From my perspective, I
totally believe that economic/ economy-based approach/ economic prosperity is ( only)
the major solution to solve the global problems such as hunger and poverty.

There are several reasons why economic development is considered to be main (evolved )
strategy alleviating starvation and hardship in these developing-countries nowadays.
Firstly, growing economy often goes with = is often associated with plenty of job
opportunities available. (Particularly, ) In other words, the number of manufactures and
factories ( reserving for the demand of ), which acts as a firm foundation for economic
development (being built up more and more, which ) leads to providing (a) more chance
for people to earn for a living ( make a living from them) . For instance, according to a
research on unemployment rate in the two years in Vietnam, 2010 and 2020, (the percent
for the former) the percentage of jobless citizens accounted for 4,43% (with modest
economy background) in 2010 when the national economy is sluggish, (whereas,
following ) whereas thanks to the modernization and innovation in many of aspects over
next 10 years (which is attribute to dropping sharply in unemployment percentage with
2,39%) , the unemployment rate declined to merely 2.39% in the next 10 years. Secondly,
(within the mentioned positive effect, ) thanks to the economic prosperity, people
obviously receive a better life with higher living standard than that in the past (with high
living standard) . (The government should frame more favourable policies for businesses
in order to improve the quality of productivities, which acts an effective tool creating
large-scale state budget supporting for their employer’s salary. People have high sense of
ability to afford the basic necessities of life with the growth of the economics of the
developing countries) – when…., cititzens are more likely to earn a higher income, thus
enabling them to….enjoy …quality services of life. For example, daily expenditures –
food/paying bill – concern about – spiritual life. (The last)Last but not least, m(when
people evaluate reputation in any country, ) economy is inevitably the main factor
determining the position of a country in the international order. (recognized all over the
world). IN other words, Country’s finance = the potential financial resources of a nation
is considered to play a fundamental role in bringing ( a change of strong authority
system) the power of that country, which contributes greatly to the fact that the more
economic aspects (they develop) accordingly develop sustainably (, the more sustainable
their social is) . Take China as an example, it has lifted more people / citizens out of
poverty than (other ones) any other countries worldwide in recent years , especially those
in urban central areas, which acts as a momentum / leverage for this country to take off.

(targets for economic revolution spectacularly. From the agricultural country in 1700,
China has changed into an economy great nation all over the world today. )

In conclusion, (the maintaining of ) the survival and growth of a country (countries )

should be based on economic development, and I strongly embrace the idea that this /
economic growth is the only way to eliminate hardship, hunger for humans as inhabitants
are more likely to gain more job opportunities and a higher quality of life while the
country can affirm their position in the international order.
