Philosophy and Practice

April 20, 2023, the Senior High School Coordinator
Marc Aller Anthony M. Guevarra, discussed the
Differentiated Instruction: Philosophy and Practice
through School Learning Action Cell (SLAC).

The objective of the discussion will help the faculty

members of San Bartolome Integrated High School
in learning new strategies for students who’s having
trouble understanding the topic.

The seminar started at 10:00 in the morning

with an opening prayer led by Sir Orly
Marfori, teacher from Grade 7. The speaker
started his discussion with an interesting
energizer entitled “Wheel of Fortune”, the
faculty members try to guess the word from
the given letters.

The discussion proper started by explaining

the topic and why it needs to be implemented.
After the discussion, the group activity begins
by sharing their own practices and formulate
a model of Differentiated Instruction each
subject area and explain very well.

The SLAC was made successful through the help of the faculty members
and the speaker. Enjoyment of the discussion was evident on the faculties’
faces together with their active participation. The seminar ended exactly
at 12:00 in the afternoon.
