Dear Mr. TAN CHIEW YEN/ GOH AI KIM
Rent reduction due to impact of COVID-19
We hope that you are going well during this strange and difficult time. We are writing to keep you informed about our current circumstances and how they have been affected by the outbreak of covid-19. The mandatory shutdown of all non-essential businesses has led to current financial hardship for our regular income has been reduced/suspended. This has unfortunately affected our ability to afford and pay our rent. We appreciate that you may be experiencing your own hardships due to covid-19, and we would like us to work together to try and find a fair solution. We are suggesting for rental reduction for June and July 2021. We are dependent on this reduction and ask for your compassion during a time when everyone in society is struggling. we also ask you to take into account our history as a good tenant when considering this request. If you can please let us know your response as soon as possible, that would be greatly appreciated. We were very happy to discuss this further so please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
