I am Manuel Carlos H. Cruel, a 4th year college student at De La Salle University, currently
taking up BS- Mechanical Engineering. I am writing to you today to show my interest in
partaking in the Shopee internship program.

Having a background in engineering, I have a strong grasp of many serviceable skills, such as
mathematics, science, and business. I believe I can bring these skills to the Shopee team, as
well as my intangible traits, specifically my problem-solving skills, pressure management, and
being able to work cohesively with a team. I wish to further enhance my understanding of this
particular industry, and develop the necessary skills to be a successful entrepreneur. I believe I
can be an important asset to this company not only because of the skills listed above, but also
my ability to connect with people and manage my time effectively. My experience being a
student-athlete has helped me hone all these skills in a way I can produce quality work with
whomever I am appointed with.
