Holistic Development- is a process of self-actualization and learning that combines an individual’s mental, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual growth.

Rene Descartes-Duality is understanding the nature of things in a simple dual-mode.

Holism- General Jan C. Smuts, He introduced the Academic Terminology for Holism as "the tendency in nature to form wholes which are greater than the sum
of the parts through creative evolution."

Gestalt- is something "something that is made up of many parts and yet is somehow more than or different from the combination of its parts; broadly, the
general quality or characteristic of someting."

The Various Aspect of Holistic Development of a Person

*Physiological Development *Cognitive Development *Psychological Development *Social Development *Spiritual Development

Basic Drives-These are physiological and biological related needs such as hunger and thirst.

Affect-These are the various emotional experiences such as emotions and moods.

Emotion- a complex experience of consciousness, bodily sensation, and behaviour that reflects the personal significance of a thing, an event, or a state of affairs.

Feelings- the capacity or ability to experience physical sensations (such as pain, touch, or temperature) that is mediated chiefly by end organs and sensory
receptors in the skin.

Attitude- It is a result of an experience with another person, object, idea, behaviour, or situation based on his or her values and beliefs

Behaviour-This is the manifestation of the attitude an individual has

Values-This is the system of belief that adheres to the highest ideals of human existence

Virtues-These are usually adjectives that describe positive and desirable qualities which usually mirror the value it represents.
