BELLS.

A person discovering an emergency should raise the alarm and advice the type of emergency to the BRIDGE or DUTY
DECK OFFICER.B The MASTER will take charge from the BRIDGE. He will relive the officer on watch unless another
officer is designated to do so “under special duties”. The
EMERGENCY SUPPORT and FIRST AID TEAM will muster at the EMERGENCY HEAD QUARTERS – The first officer to arrive
will contact the BRIDGE for information and instructions, additional, temporary crew members will report to the
BRIDGE.
SUBSTITUTES – should key members be disabled those next in line, as appropriate, should take their place. People may
be reassigned if not required at their allocated stations.
Portable radios are assigned to the person in charge of Bridge, Emergency and Support Team and Chief Engineer.
