A. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
B. COMMERCIAL PRICE:
NOTE: The above are our conditions for contract. However if these are not specifically addressed at the time of
finalization of order, all these conditions will be deemed to be applicable.
E. COMMERCIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1] Taxes : CGST (9%) & SGST (9%) OR IGST (18%), or such rate as applicable at the
time of dispatch of material.
2] Service tax : 18% GST, or such rate as applicable at the time of installation.
3] Packing & Forwarding : As applicable extra.
4] Transit Insurance : As applicable extra.
5] Transport : As applicable extra.
6] Anything which is not specifically covered above shall be borne by the buyer.
7] All ORIGINAL bank guarantee DOCUMENTS, be it advance bank guarantee [ ABG ] or performance bank
guarantee [ PBG ] need to be returned to our Mumbai office within seven days of date of expiry mentioned in BG,
failing which interest at the rate of 18% p.a., shall be charged & payable by the party for the delay exceeding seven
days of expiry. Additionally if the party opts for a claim period extending beyond the expiry date then the interest
at the rate of 18 % be borne by the party for such extension.
8]Delivery schedule: 4-5 weeks time after the receipt of P.O., advance & approved drawing whichever is later.
9] Erection & commissioning schedule: 3-4 weeks subject to clear site conditions to carry out work without
interruption. Soft Copy of Maintenance manual will be furnished after successful erection & commissioning at site.
15] Warranty:
a)For only supply items: 12 months from the date of dispatch.
b)For equipment involving supply & erection commissioning: 12 months from the date of successful erection &
commissioning OR 18 months from the date of dispatch whichever is earlier. For bought out items warranty
available will be on back to back basis.
c) The warranty shall not cover any damages during transit, bad storage, misuse or mishandling of equipment at
client’s site &damages resulting from adaptations or adjustments made to the equipment by the client without
specific approval by S. Crane Engineering Works.
d) Note that the following parts like wire rope, rope guide, knobs, labels, stickers, fuses,
Brake pads, brake discs and brake liners, indicator lamps, light bulbs, glass items and plastic items will not
covered in warranty.
e) Our warranty does not cover any electrical components. (Cables, push buttons, switches, replays, contactors,
transformers, rectifiers, motor & brakes)
f) The warranty does not cover the risk to the product caused by accident, lightening, water, fire, earthquake, or
other acts of God, improper handling, excessive shocks or any external cause beyond our control.
g) The warranty does not cover any damages on account of running the equipment with any power supply other
than those recommended in specifications. No other cause of action or liability whether direct, indirect or
consequential, incidental shall lie on us.
h) In case we were supposed to carry out erection and commissioning of the supplied equipment, the same will be
handed over after satisfactory erection & commissioning work. The customer is not supposed to use the equipment
which is not completely erected & commissioned and handed over by us. In case of such unsafe usage by client, our
warranty will not be applicable.
i) If payment is not made to us per the stipulation of the purchase order, warranty terms will not be applicable and
we will not be liable to provide any services to customer.
16] Delivery conditions:
a) We will dispatch the goods to the client as per the purchase order on the receipt of the complete payment
including taxes and duties as per the purchase order.
b) Above delivery period is subject to force majeure conditions and/ or reasons beyond our control.
c) All deliveries shall be ex-works’ Company’s facility at Talasari (Thane district, Maharashtra) and the title & risk of
loss shall pass to the client at this delivery point.We will make reasonable efforts to deliver equipment to a carrier
at the delivery point on the estimated delivery date for transportation to the locations specified in the clients
purchase order.
d) Deliveries shall be in quantities specified in the purchase orders. Part deliveries shall be allowed after acceptance
on both sides.
e) Date of inspection as given in our inspection call should be treated as the date of delivery, if the purchase order
specifies L.D. or penalty conditions.
17] Storage charges:
If the client does not pick up the material in 7 days after dispatch clearance, we will levy a demurrage charge
@1 % of the total order value per week. The payment towards this has to be made by client before dispatch
of equipment. If this period of storage exceeds 60 days from the inspection /inspection call date/dispatch
clearance; we will be at liberty to forfeit the advance payment received and salvage the material to recover
our losses in the transaction.
18] Interest for delayed payment: Interest @ 2% p.m. shall be charged for all delayed payments to be calculated
on daily basis.
19] E.M.D.:We are registered with NSIC and hence are exempt from payment of any E.M.D.
20] Jurisdiction: Mumbai
21] Validity: This offer is valid for a period of 7 days from the quotation date and thereafter subject to our written
confirmation.
