It is mandatory to put all flight times in BST. (British Summer Time)
Flight Schedule Example

Staff Joining Time XX:45 BST
Server Unlock XX:00 BST
Boarding & Server Lock XX:15 BST
Departure XX:30 BST
Arrival XX:50 BST
1. Planning Stage
● In the #request-flight channel, request for your flight’s approval.

● Once approved, post your sign up form in the #form channel.
● Post your briefing sheet at least 15 minutes before staff joining
time. It is preferred if you post it a few hours earlier.
● If there is no Turnaround Manager for your flight, you will need to
post the ground services sheet in #gs-orientation.
2. Staff Joining Time
IMPORTANT: SOMETIMES THE GATE SYSTEMS AND DEPARTURE

BOARDS DO NOT SPAWN IN, IF THEY HAVE NOT SPAWNED IN,
SHUTDOWN THE SERVER AND MAKE A NEW SERVER.
Inserting the plane:
Your first step should be to insert the plane using the ID document. Remember to
fly a little bit above the ground and insert it in an open space.
Setmessage:
:setmsg AA XXX [-] Go to check-in / bag drop and head through to security [-] Gate:
Gate Number [-] Lounge: Open/Closed | Enjoy your flight with Aurora Airways!
Setting up the Self Check-In machines:

Open the panel in the top left corner and type in the respective information.
You can find out seating details by typing ?seating in the staff server.
Setting up the In-Flight Entertainment:

Open the panel in the top left corner, click “Configure IFE”, and fill in the
information. Remember to press submit and confirm changes once done.
Setting up the baggage system luggage tag:
Type /flights and a GUI will appear:
● Click Add
● Type in the flight details
● Click Confirm
Setting up the departure boards:

Type !boards and a GUI will appear:
● Click Toggle Power

● Click Generate Random Flights
● Click Edit Details
● Click Screen 1
● Click Row 1
● Enter the flight details. Remember to put the time in BST.
Attendance:
Taking attendance should be the last thing you should do before opening the
server. Give yourself at least 2 minutes to take attendance. You must record it in the
#attendance channel.
2. Unlocking the server
● Before unlocking, check that everyone is ready.

● Unlock the server at XX:00 by typing /stafflock off
● Announce in #flight-announcements on the main server:
Please begin joining AA XXX.

GAME LINK
The server will lock in 15 minutes.

● This announcement should be posted every 2 minutes from

opening to server locking:
:m Welcome to AA XXX! Please print your ticket by using self-

check-in, drop off your bag and make your way to security. Have
a great flight!
- This announcement should be posted 5 minutes before server

:m Dear passengers. The server will be locked in 5 minutes.

Please invite your friends! Have a nice flight.

:m Dear passengers, airport services will be closing now. Please

head to gate NUMBER in preparation for boarding.

:notify admins Close services.
- Lock the server at XX:15 by typing /stafflock on

- This announcement should be posted when the server locks.
:m Dear passengers. The server is now locked. Please do not

rejoin or you will not be able to join back. Boarding will begin
promptly. Thank you!
3. Boarding
- Play the boarding music. :music 13279171827

- Begin boarding as soon as you have locked the server.
- Click on the white screen to access the controls.
- Advance to “Boarding”
- Remember, in most cases all 4 classes will not be available on the
aircraft. Advance to the highest class available on the flight.
(i.e On a B737-800 flight, only PE and EC are available, so skip
straight to PE.)
:m We would like to call all Aurora First passengers to line up for

boarding for AA XXX. Please refrain from pushing.
:m We would like to call all Aurora Business passengers to line up for
:m We would like to call all Aurora Premium Economy passengers to

line up for boarding for AA XXX. Please refrain from pushing.
:m We would like to call all Aurora Economy passengers to line up for

- If there are any AFK passengers, teleport them to the aircraft.

- Ensure to :track all to make sure no passengers have run away.
- REMEMBER TO :jpower all 0 once

everyone is seated.
3. In-Flight
The Senior Cabin Crew member now takes over for all in-
flight procedures.
If there is NO Senior Cabin Crew member, you will need to

fulfill those duties. Refer to the SCC guide for information.
4. Arrival
- Once everyone has exited the arrival airport, give everyone

fireworks and the Horizon flag and take some nice pictures.
- :gear all 162857391

- :give all Flag
- All staff are dismissed at this point.

- :notify admins Staff dismissed. Last one on the server shuts down.
- If you need to make any changes to the attendance you

marked earlier, now is the time to do so.
(i.e A cabin crew member does not complete all their duties and
leaves the flight mid-way.)
