Executive summary

In these two months we conducted a survey, regarding


“FORCE MOTORS (School bus)” we received feedback &
valuable suggestions about School bus. These suggestions will
certainly help the organisation in future. From this survey we came
to know about the demand of School bus in All school like, Jr.kg,
Sn.kg, pre-primary, secondary, and also in govt school, private
school. It was also found that most of the customers are not aware
about the FORCE MOTORS and “School bus traveller”.
conducting this survey, we got opportunity to meet & interact with
the heads of different institutions.

Introduction

The Founder managing Director of FORCE


MOTORS was Late Shri. N.K. Firodia. He was a
dedicated Jaya Hind Industries established in 1946. He was started
first factory in 1958 in Goregaon, Mumbai.

He was considered as a Industrial Modernization for India. In 1950


he established and started to manufacture Tempo 3-wheeler in
India collaborated with Vidal & Sohn.
He was inspired to build a modern India through Industrialization.
With this vision he decided to create low cost, mass transport
vehicles, which would be appropriate for India. Shri N.K. Firodia
coined the word ‘Auto-rickshaw’ which has endured for half a
century.
On 10th anniversary of Indian Independence i.e. 15th August 1957
the manufacturing of Tempo 3-Wheeler has been start in a small
plant of Goregaon Bombay. Initially he got a licensed to
manufacture 1000 vehicles per year and 80 vehicles per month.
The Company is doing well in the all there verticals –auto
component, tooling and vehicles. Company has a lot of potential to
grow further. They are supplying engines to world’s biggest
competitors in luxury car makers BMW and Mercedes Benz that
show how reliable company is.
There various manufacturing facilities spread across the country.

Force motors has an 8000 strong work force spread across 5


locations. At Akurdi we make the agricultural tractors and three
wheelers, At Pithampur we make the Traveler and Trax vehicles.
At Chakan we have the dedicated facility to produce engines and
axles for Mercedes Benz. At Chennai we have the dedicated
facility to produce engines for BMW. At Urse we produce the
high-pressure aluminum castings for leading automakers. Force
Motors is the flagship company that manufactures aggregates,
vehicles and agricultural tractors.

Force motors is Market leader in segment with around 72% market


share.

Force Motors is one of the leading manufacturer and seller for
Light commercial vehicles which includes Traveller Passenger,
school bus, Ambulance, Smart city, intercity bus. Force motors is
India’s largest Ambulance maker. Force motors is Fastest growing
School Bus manufacturer.

Objective of FORCE MOTORS
The main objectives of the Force Motors systematic approach to
training and development programme is to keep an organization at
the front of its industry maximize performance and energize every
level of the organization.

Literature review & problem statement

I worked with Force Motors ltd. As a management trainee the area


of company I work as Force Motors (School Bus) in that we work
to promote as well as sale School Bus of Force Motors. Ideally the
market which we are in Force Motors having advantages of their
quality and consistency. We getting the benefit of that good will it
going to be very easy to generate the enquire following are the task
which we are to performing doing the internship period.

• Selection of target educational sectors.


• I ask the principal to getting appointment regarding about
program for Force Motors (School Bus) products.
• I explain the all new School Bus Segment.
• Collect the mobile no, mail Id of school.
• Send mail to reputed client about product description as per
their requirement.
• Gathering information about bus details, area and other
details.
• Everyday reporting to superior authority.
Problem statement

Lots Of competition in School Bus market.


Not everyone can afford the product.
Taking too much time for getting response from client.
The major problem while I was gathering the data to fill the
form is that in many school they were not allow me to talk to
principle or bus department because they were working on
prior appointment meeting only.

Process description
1. Visit a School

2. Meet Principal / Bus Department

3. Ask data like, contact number, mail address, Requirement etc.

4. If there is any requirement then fix a Meeting appointment with


principal and Our sales executive.

5. After meeting, if deal done then collection of data and closing


of sales.

work experience in that the superior authority they divided us as
we are suite in which profile for marketing of interior or security.

Training session we getting in detail information about the


product line what exactly the features in that we have to focuses on
the following products which are come in to what we are going to
select the target market.

Findings and Conclusion

After the successfully completion of my summer Internship I understood


that market research is an important aspects for a company throughout the
lifecycle of a particular product. It helps in knowing the customer response
about the product and what exactly customer wants. During the internship I
learned one thing, giving the proper product information is helps to attract
the customer.

Customer response: Products of force motors are very good quality &
exclusive, duplex stronger so the product prices are is normal range so
everyone can able to buy the product like all of school authority, and
contractor also.

The response is very good for all school and international school also. This
projects force motors having great system of producing and innovating
products they also have grate work culture, the advantage they get in to
market is high brand value but there are some competitions which can be
hide their products features and quality.

Learning experience

Force motors ltd. give opportunity to marketing force school bus.


And the name itself gives me lots of confidence. In training
program what the supervisor told theoretically, that actually we
implemented in practically.

I would like to say thank you to MR. Kapil Sharma sir to


give me greatest opportunity to present myself in corporate world.
