At Rochester University, I obtained my Bachelors in Science and Education at

the end of April last year (2022). I have studied Integrated Science and am DI
certified. I completed my student teaching semester at Stoney Creek High
School. There, I observed and taught under Tricia Williams for Chemistry and
Biology. I also completed a long-term substitute position inside the school for
Chemistry and Advanced Placement Chemistry.

I am currently teaching Astronomy and Biology at Waterford Kettering High

School. During this teaching opportunity, I have helped my students become
more confident in their schoolwork and study skills, work on time-management
techniques, and offered a helping hand towards academic strength. While at
Kettering, I have gained skills in better communication with parents, productive
and safe lab-educating techniques, and how to better work with and help every
type of learner. Kettering has helped me grow in understanding diversity,
enhance my social skills, and understand how to help students reach their
academic goals. I have enjoyed spending my time making the school a more
welcoming and enjoyable community. I enjoy making my classroom a safe place
and inviting students in, no matter the circumstance.

I am very motivated and dedicated to teaching, and am certain that I would

make a positive impact as a part of the professional teaching team at the school.
