Statement of Purpose

Education is a tool that assists in acquiring knowledge and building personality

that sets one apart from the crowd. My parents always taught me that dedication,
perseverance, determination and hard work could win laurels. An eye for reason
and logic, strong fundamentals and diligence, developed during my school days
helped me guide through the stiff competition to make it to the college of
engineering.

Since my first introduction in the field of Mass Communications, I was quite

fascinated and this fascination has developed a latent interest for knowing more
and increasing my knowledge in this field. From the days of my school, I had
developed this interest and I always updated myself to the latest software and
literature in this field. I had a consistent career graph throughout my school life. I
secured 63% in my 10th grade and 60% in my 12th grade.

I entered the undergraduate institution Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan’s College

(Osmania University) is one of the reputed colleges in the state. The college has
an extremely dedicated faculty in Biotechnology department. My constant urge to
learn, explore and desire to be part of the fast-growing advances in the world by
contributing to its development have been instrumental in sparkling an interest in
me for graduate study.

Luckily, during my stay at the College, the things have shaped on the lines of my
thinking. The college curriculum for this Arts major is vast and touched several
aspects of Mass Communications with special emphasis on Political Science,
Computer Skills, Mass Comm and Journalism, Environmental Studies, Indian
History & Culture, Human Values & PE and Science & Civilization. The study at
the college was rewarding and laid a solid foundation in me over the subject and
enhanced my enthusiasm. My professors were highly appreciative of my
performance particularly in the practical field as well as my communication skills
in the classroom.
I consider myself an enthusiastic, diligent, zealous and a hard-working student. I
have been consistently performing throughout my schooling and Bachelors study.
I have a strong feeling that extracurricular activity is a must to complement with
academics. I have involved myself in various such competitions like Cricket, Volley
ball, Table Tennis.

I am convinced that TRINE UNIVERSITY is the right place to further my academic

career. Your eminent faculty, excellent research facilities, pleasant university
ambience and a balanced academic program are very much likely to produce
excellent results to the field of my interest. Your university is a confluence of
people from varied culture, nationality, religion, race and ideology. I am sure that
my exposure to these kinds of diverse influences would result in the overall
development of my personality and help me broaden my concept from the
narrower confines of nationalism to internationalism. I would therefore be very
thankful if I am offered a beneficial association with your esteemed university.

In conclusion, I would like to say that if granted admission into your university I
would perform to the best of my abilities and hope to acquire skills that will help
me realize my dreams. Finally, I take this opportunity to thank you for enabling
