Beantamlack Feleke Aberra

Have been in the Rotary family for the last 7 years where he began his Rotary journey at his high school
days by forming the schools Interact club, Interact Club of Cathe’s Vega when he was a senior. He has
served the club as a public relation’s officer. After he graduated from Highschool in 2015 he joined
Rotaract Club of Atrons and was the assistant Public relation officer for that RI year. After serving the
club in various BOD positions like International Service Director, Club Service Director he became the
club’s President for the 2017/18 Rotary year where the club was one of the only two Rotaract clubs in
Ethiopia that were complacent to the Rotary International Citations for Rotaract clubs. Beantamlack was
also the recipient to the Most Engaging Male Rotarctor from Ethiopia by the district DRR and DG. He
served the Rotaract country team as a Secretary for the RI Year 2019/20. On March 6th, 2018 he
became the first Ethiopian to go through all three Rotary Structures as Rotary Club of Addis Ababa –
West decided to have him as their member. He has been participating in the club’s various projects and
He is the current secretary for the Club. He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Addis Ababa
University and currently working as a training facilitator at Dereja.com. He enjoys playing a watching
Basketball and also being a Master of ceremony in different events.
