Introductory Activity

1. What is Special and Inclusive Education?

 Special education is the practice of providing individualised instruction and support to students
with disabilities or learning difficulties. While inclusive education is a term used to describe a
type of schooling where all students, regardless of ability or disability , have access to quality
education that meets their specific needs.

2. What are the benefits of a special education system that includes all students in the

Philippines?

 The benefits of special education system is to develop the maximum potential of the chil
with special needs enable him to become self-reliant.

3. Do you believe that this educational system has been successfully implemented in our

country? Why or why not? To back up your claim, offer at least one example.

 For me educational system is mainly divided into pre-primary , primary , elementary

and secondary education , which followed by higher studies. However , there are many
drawbacks and loopholes in this system which if curbed can work for the overall
development of the country. The term education system generally refers to public
schooling , not private schooling , and more commonly to kindergarten through high
school programs.
