What is
IELTS?
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
is designed to help you work, study or migrate to a country
where English is the native language.
Your ability to listen, read, write and speak in English will be
assessed during the test. IELTS is graded on a scale of 1-9.
IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP: IELTS
Australia and Cambridge Assessment English.
High Score
Vocabulary?
High score vocabulary will help you to increase your score for
reading and writing sections. Knowing these words will
enable you to understand reading texts easily and using them
in your essays will help you to get higher score. The more
advanced IELTS vocabulary you use correctly, the higher
score you will get.
Literacy( noun)
- Oxuma yazma qabiliyyəti
Example:
1) You will be tested in literacy and numeracy.
2) The percentage of people having literacy in countryside have
soared during last decade as a result of education policy in the
country.
Mainstream (noun/verb)
- Ana fikir, əsas idea, ana xətt, ana axım
Example:
1) Spiritualism is being mainstreamed nowadays.
2) Many youngsters have been out of mainstream education for so long
that they cannot adapt to a formal learning environment.
Viability (noun)
- Yaşaya bilirlik, həyat qabiliyyəti, dayanıqlılıq
Example:
1) The long-term viability of this brand has been verified.
2) The viability of Chinese Multinational Companies is commonly
acknowledged.
Breadwinner (noun)
- Evdə çörək qazanan şəxs
Example:
1) Men are often expected to be the breadwinner in a family.
Indivisibility (noun)
- Bölünməzlik
Example:
1) The country’s constitution guarantees from the first line the unity and
indivisibility of the state.
