INTRODUCTION
All of the knowledge and experiences gained from fieldwork by the staff of the Balanga City
Fire Station are included in the content of this collection. The pre-learning lectures and seminars
where FO1 Adriel Penaflor, FO1 Carl Kevin Puno, and SFO2 Angelito Dela Rosa shared their
knowledge on the components of PPE, rules pertaining to the Fire Code of the Philippines, as
well as the 10 stages of firefighting, were the first step in the process. Additionally, FO1 John
Paul Passilan, FO1 Francis Joan Pasion, FO1 Jonard Reyes, FO1 Carl Kevin Puno, and other
employees who assist us in performing and carrying out all the fundamental firefighting
procedures on the job. Like the appropriate tossing of a fire hose, donning, and dopping, as well
as the right folding of a fire hose such as single donut, double donut, twin donut, accordion,
figures of eight, butterfly. Aside that, every other shift of duties always shows the determination
and effort to share their knowledge on us, we are so grateful to treat as their aspirant in order to
put ourselves into a brighten way through having the knowledge of knowing the actual work of a
firefighter, they show us that the firefighter is not only for the suppression of fire and prevention
but only to serve and rescue in times of emergency and also in calamity. Because of them, they
allowed me to come into seminar on how fire safety conference conducted. It is an privileged
and great opportunity given on us to join their task, because were able to know the reality works
of a fire fighter and on how to prevent the fire. Were so glad as a trainee that they handled us and
all of their perseverance and efforts will all always appreciated.
PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE
On every Monday members of the Bureau of Fire Protection and OJT-Alpha from
Bataan Heroes College participate in the traditional flag-raising ceremony. To
demonstrate the comradery among the Tatak Heroes Criminology Cadets and
Cadettes, we are in our most brisk formation.
We had the opportunity to attend the fire seminar held at Vista Mall Bataan thanks
to staff from the Balanga City Fire Station. They educated the mall personnel at
this symposium about fire safety procedures and what to do in the event of a fire.
Additionally, they instruct the employees on the proper use of fire extinguishers
and how to quickly put out a fire.
For the final performance of all trainees, we conduct a field training exercise to
perform all of the lessons in actual performance. The members of the staff of the
Balanga City Fire Station helped us maintain our strength and stamina by enabling
us to exercise daily. The road run will begin at 7 a.m., followed by reveli or the
physical fitness test. Call time is at 6:30 a.m. This workout gave us the strength we
needed to go through the demanding firefighter training.
