IAPSM QUIZ PRELIMINARY ROUND

On the occasion of World Heath Day , 2023, Nationwide quiz( Elimination Round) was organised
by Dept of Community Medicine under the agesis of IAPSM-AP State Chapter. All the
information regarding the quiz was communicated by the IAPSM State Co-ordinater,*
Dr Thirumala Rao*, Associate professor, RIMS, Ongole to the Nodal officers(IAPSM QUIZ)of
various medical colleges. General instructions about registration and participation in quiz was
informed to MBBS students.

ABOUT THE ELIMINATION ROUND

Under the guidance of Dr C. Jyothi, Professor and Head , Dept of Community Medicine,
Dr. B. Shruthi , Senior Resident represented as the Nodal Officer for the IAPSM quiz.
Elimination round was conducted on 3rd April, 2023 at Taylor’s Lecture Gallery , Narayana
Medical College.
It was a 20 mins mcq based exam . It was held from 10:20 am to 10:40 am. A total of 47 teams
all together consisting of 134 MBBS students participated in the elimination round.
Four sets of question papers and answer keys were used for conduction and evaluation of the
elimination round.
Based on the aggregate marks obtained by 3 students in a team, list of top four teams was
prepared.
The top 4 teams are eligible for participation in the final quiz to be held on 10th march. The
same was communicated to the students.
