Sachin, with his passion for maximalism, art and
antiques, and penchant for combining disparate
styles from across the continents, ages and
genres, creates iconic spaces that redefine
contemporary luxury interiors.
Today, Sachin and his wife Neha have to their
credit an impressive repertoire of exquisitely
finished residential projects across the country
and abroad, many of them for well-known
personalities. With their core expertise in
residential spaces, they have designed farm
houses, beach villas, pool houses, pent houses,
apartments, and many more.
CREATING NEW CONNECTIONS WITH THE INDIAN CULTURE
Sachin’s style allows for highly individualistic
spaces where every piece of furniture, all
furnishings, accessories and the smallest details
are customised. Enigmatic neutral backgrounds
are juxtaposed with bold foregrounds striking a
harmonious balance. While the individual
elements are classic, the vibe of the spaces is very
contemporary. You will see scaled-up
accessories, layered textures and multiple décor
features woven together to create a grand
tapestry in a “more is marvelous” mood. “With
such a rich art and design heritage, it would be
hard to go for a minimal look. Moreover, today’s
well-travelled customers would want influences
from around the globe to enrich their homes,”
says Sachin of his unique style.
So you will see eclectic influences from around
the world, creating new connections with the
Indian culture, and merging them with another
time and place encouraging an emotional, as well
as an aesthetic response in the onlooker. Their
end-to-end services ensure that every small detail
is taken care of.
Beyond Designs also specialises in custom-made
furniture, lights and accessories. They started
their manufacturing unit in 2003 on a 500 spft
space, which is today a 20,000 spft facility. The
Beyond Designs retail store was launched in
South Delhi in 2010, and in 2018 they unveiled
their flagshp store at MG Road, Sultanpur in the
Delhi Design District. The 8,000-sqft store
showcases high-end furniture pieces, lights and
accessories that use exclusive materials like
stone, mirror, metal, crystals, semi-precious
inlay, gold and silver leaf etc. The collections are
a perfect amalgam of old world charm and
contemporary finesse.  A walk through the
flagship store is mesmerizing as it treats all your
senses with the actual settings of living, dining,
bedroom, etc, in an enchanting manner.
EXPERIENCE ECLECTIC INFLUENCES FROM AROUND THE WORLD
FOUNDERS
SACHIN GUPTA
Sachin Gupta began his design business in 1998 working on small projects in partnership with a few
friends, and by 2000, he launched his own company - Beyond Designs. Early in his career, fashion
designers Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla asked him to execute their couture store in Delhi, which opened
up new horizons for him. It gave him the confidence to take up large projects, and he has since gone
on to helm many iconic ventures. Sachin has been creatively inclined since young age and his love for
interiors pushed him in this direction. He went on to do a diploma in interior designing, though he is
not so much a product of formal education. He honed his skills on the job, working with passion,
reading and researching extensively for his product lines. And basically living and breathing design.
Finding beauty and balance with complex layers of materials, textures and design influences from
across the world gives him immense joy. Marriage to Neha in 2003 gave him a work partner as well,
since she came from a similar background, and was already working as a designer. And together they
promoted the Beyond Designs brand to new heights. Among the contemporaries, Sachin admires
Timothy Corrigan for the way he creates lavish and layered interiors using antiques and traditional
styles, and Anouska Hempel for her bold and original designs.
NEHA GUPTA
Architect, interior designer and Co-Founder of luxury furniture, home accessories and interiors
solution brand Beyond Designs, Neha Gupta is also the Founder of Beyond Designs Home and Bistro.
The new vertical of Beyond Designs, housed within its flagship store on MG Road, Sultanpur, Delhi, is
her vision and passion. Having enjoyed the unique shopping-cum-dining concepts abroad on her
extensive travels, Neha wanted to launch something similar in India. And that is coming to fruition
with the opening of Beyond Designs Home and Bistro. Multi-faceted and multi-talented, Neha with her
strong sense of aesthetics and style, has designed exquisite spaces, and has also managed the
business. Her international exposure and experience, as well as her deep appreciation for the
timeless design heritage, have given her a pioneering status in an exciting design world. She is the
business mind behind the growth of Beyond Designs.
And she now has a new role carved for herself. Like Beyond Designs studio, the bistro is built on the
philosophy of experimental and fusion-based design and cuisine.
The French-inspired interiors of the bistro showcase a passionately created design environment, and
the specially crafted Modern European cuisine and the Asian fare offered are equally stylish. The
bistro offers a unique opportunity of browsing through exquisite handcrafted home accessories,
some created in-house, some sourced from across the globe, while tantalising your taste buds with
delectable dishes.
Neha Gupta has completed her diploma in interior design and also has a degree of architecture from
the Institution of Civil Engineers. As the Co-Founder of Beyond Designs, her unique style and passion
for design have inspired her to extend her knowledge beyond interiors into the world of food.
“I wanted to create a space that remains in the people’s heart for both its creative atmosphere and
the best fine dining experience the city has to offer. That is becoming a reality with the launch of the
bistro,” Neha says.

their flagship store on MG Road, Sultanpur in the
Delhi Design District, offering a unique,
one-of-its-kind dining and shopping experience.
Having enjoyed similar concepts at prestigious
addresses abroad, Neha was eager to bring the
same to India.
The French-style bistro allows you to immerse in
a rare indulgence of shopping for signature home
accessories celebrating handcrafted traditions
from around the world, and an equally exquisite
dining option at a French-styled bistro. The
cuisine is predominantly Modern European, with
a sprinkling of Asian flavours.
With its charming classic-contemporary décor dotted
with art and design, the bistro takes you straight to the
streets of Paris. Its passionately crafted interiors – chic
rustic walls adorned with exclusive artworks and
wallpapers; sophisticated seating of white marble top
tables, chic cane chairs, classic upholstered sofas in
exotic prints; eye-catchingly displayed exquisite home
accessories, some created in-house, others sourced
from across the globe; and grand vintage-inspired
chandeliers – result in an enchanting space for
memorable moments.
The saga of fusions Beyond Designs is known for,
continues with the décor, the products and the dishes.
The bistro is where you take in the beauty around, get
your hands on unusual accessories manufactured
in-house and curated from across the globe, and indulge
in some specially crafted dishes with an experimentative
edge. So brace up for some twist in the taste that
comes either in the form of a surprise ingredient, or in
the way of preparation or presentation.
The bistro remains open from 10 am for breakfast till 7
pm in the evening, and serves a collection of delish
breakfasts, lavish lunches and a luxe high tea menu and
beverages.
