1. Objectives of choosing this teaching aid

a) To give visual to the pupil and get him exposed to visuals.
b) To expose pupil to new words with the help of technology

2. Explanation:
Pupil love and tend to focus more when it comes to visuals. Autistic kids tend to be hyperactive and
need something interesting to focus on. In this case, the pupil is a visual-kinaesthetic learner. This
indicates he loves visuals and moving around when he learns. Moreover, the reason behind choosing
this video is Youtube play a good role being a relevant technology-assisted teaching aid where I can
use it to teach reading skill. For the chosen topic, I can expose the pupil to more vocabulary shown
throughout the whole video. Since the pupil has background knowledge of animals, it would be easier
for me to teach him vocabulary as well. If pupil cant continuously read along with other pupils, it is fine.
Teacher will make sure the pupil will read out the animals shown on the video.

3. Procedure: Teacher will present the video and makes sure pupil read the word shown throughout the
video.
Teaching Aid: Google slides

5. Explanation: Slides presented will be helpful for the pupil to know what is about to happen.
6. Procedure: 1. Slides will be created by teacher.
2. Slides will be presented by teacher with the help of LCD projector and laptop.
3. Slides will be shown by teacher while explaining during her class.
Game: Find their home
Things needed: Animal pieces/ miniature

7. Objective
a) Help them feel calm and engage their senses in a positive way.
b) Help them to keep them calm in case they happen to experience a meltdown.
c) To give them a sense of realness

8. Explanation: Many autistic children and teenagers have obsessions and routine. If they don’t have
the things they want to, they will scream and act impulsive. By giving them these stuffed mini animal
pieces, they can make use of them and calm them down if they experience a meltdown.

9. Procedure: This game is conducted where pupil has to return the stuffed animal he has to its
home. For an example, if he happen to have a duck , he should be able to return it to the pond where
duck can be usually found. All these inputs are given through the video presented and explanation by
the teacher.

Game: Kahoot
Things needed: Laptop and LCD projector

10. Objective
a) Encourages kids to participate actively.
b) Fosters learning through engaging games
c) Acts as an assessment

11. Explanation: This pupil loves computer games and he actively participates in it. By using the teacher
can assess him as well as let him enjoy the game with colourful visuals that would enjoy his mood.
Kahoot! offers a wide range of learning games to suit students' needs at many different levels. Teacher
can modify the question and give enough time for pupil to analyse the question to answer them.
12. Procedure: a) Teacher will open Kahoot and let people enter the code that will be given by the
teacher to the pupil.
b)Teacher will monitor him throughout the process.
c) Pupil loves Kahoot and shows great interest.
d) Teacher does not need to explain the procedure in detail.
