Project Description:
In this project, you will modify a PowerPoint presentation listing many of the weather preparedness tips and services available
at Penn Liberty Motors for their customers. You will insert hyperlinks and create custom slide shows of weather preparedness
information. You will annotate the slide show and create a self-running version of the presentation for use in the automobile
dealership.

1 Start PowerPoint. Download, save, and open the presentation 0

2 On Slide 1, select the text www.weather.gov. Insert the hyperlink 10
www.weather.gov. Include the ScreenTip National Weather Service.
3 On Slide 6, at the bottom right corner of the slide, insert an Action 12
Button: Forward or Next, which is found in the last row of the Shapes
gallery. Accept the default settings for the button. Size the button to
0.5” wide and high.

Note, depending on the version of Office used, the action button name
may be Action Button: Go Forward or Next.
4 On Slide 3, select the picture of the first aid kit. Insert a hyperlink to 12
Place in This Document, and then click 7. Winter Accessories.
5 On Slide 7, select Contact Us, and then add a Hyperlink to an E-mail 16
Address. For the address, type weatherteam@libertymotors.com.
Include the ScreenTip, Contact us for all your weatherization
needs. (include the period).
6 Create a new custom slide show named Weather Preparedness. Add 10
Slide 2 through Slide 5.
7 On Slide 1, select the subtitle WEATHER PREPAREDNESS. Insert a 10
hyperlink to the custom show Weather Preparedness. Select the Show
and return check box.
8 Hide Slide 4. 10

9 In Presenter view, display Slide 6. Click the Pen and laser pointer tools 10
icon, and then click Highlighter. Change the Ink Color to Red. In the
last bulleted item, highlight Car Jack and Instruction Manual. Keep
your ink annotations.
