Teachers have always been one of my biggest inspirations but my English teacher, Madam

Atiqa, or commonly known as Ms Q is the teacher who inspires and I adored the most. She first came
to school in 2018 and I had a great impression of her since she speaks English with a cool British
accent plus, she has an elegant fashion sense.
In 2018, I had my first interaction with her during my choral speaking practice. I love that she
gave some bits of advice to the team and shared her point of view about our performance. Moreover,
she encouraged us with some motivating feedback. On that occasion, I grasped that a compliment
plays an essential part for someone to keep improving.
After 2 years, Ms Q finally became my English teacher and I was amazed by her well-planned
lessons for her students since we were able to do all language skills like comprehension, reading,
listening and writing in a week. Other than that, she would also make sure that all tasks are discussed
within the week along with her feedback on our work; which is everyone’s favourite thing to do.
It is 2022 and I am thankful that she remains my English teacher. During our first class after
weeks of online class, she held an ice-breaking session with us. Later after we answered some
questions about ourselves, it was our time to ask her. One thing that was still lingering on my mind
was about her experience in studying abroad and I appreciate how she was open to sharing about
herself as well as sharing how she copes with problems, society and stereotype.
Therefore, I empathised with her story and from that day on, I am certain of my dream and
became more determined to be an excellent teacher like her. I always wanted to tell her that she has
been a wonderful teacher and this profession suits her the best. When the class ended, we thanked Ms
Q for the meaningful class. She smiled approvingly as she walked away.
