GUIDE TO THE PROM OPTION MCI-D / E

6th November 2006 (Version V11 in MCI-E)

The address value is the programming value for engineering. If the tool POME is to be used to read the
content, then insert the value A instead of the first 0
For example: for the address below 0000, using the POME tool input A000.
N.B: any modification to the address may cause malfunction or safety problems, particularly an undesired
inspection speed. The operation of the elevator should be checked after changes.

XXX: modifications for the V9

Standard value

0000 Top-level or level number - 1.

00 0001 Basement number (required for the Link V2 range)

0F 0002 Type of operator limit switches. May be used to choose if contact occurs upon opening or closing.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Surch │ Complet (Full overload) │ │ │ ││FCOU21 │ FCFE2 │FCOU1 │FCFE1
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If 1 is programmed opposite the designated contact, this contact operates when it opens.
For example: if a 1 is entered for the overload then this contact is active if the entrance is in the air and
inactive if the entry is shunted.
Enter 0F for a THYSSEN door type D4 or D6.

00 0003 Type of contact for the cleats and the door opening mechanism.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cleats │ │Reou1 (Reopen1) │CS1││BS1 │Reou2 (Reopen2) │CS2│BS2
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Same as for the address 0002
At the entrance, Reous (Reopens) are connected to the strike contact and the reopen button; so, if a
1 is programmed in this space, then these two contacts must be wired in series.
For better understanding, put the value 0 for each contact, in this way each contact used for opening or
maintaining the open condition is a working contact.
CS = re-open cell BS = Sensor edge
Normally enter 00

0004 Traction method. Enter 01 for 2 speeds, lsostop12, Frequency variation or Galaxy.
02 for hydraulic
Programming the hydraulic option validates the selection using two detectors.
0005 Selectivity
Enter 00 for a locking manoeuvre
Enter 02 for a levelling manoeuvre.
In locking mode, the level registering indicators will light as will the OCCUPE indicator.
The indicators remain static during movement.

0006 Main access door motor characteristic.

Enter 00 if the door has an opening and closing limit switch
01 if the door only has an opening limit switch
02 if the door does not have a limit switch
Olympia door = 00

0007 Opposite access door motor characteristic.

As with address 0005. Enter 02 if there is just one PACP access, enter 0 if there is a simple cam driven door
access. Olympia door = 00

0008 Simple or double access.

Enter 00 for a simple access
01 for a double access.

01 0009 Direct start or using a wye-delta. 00 for direct, 01 for a wye-delta.

Enter 01 in any case; this will be used to delay the brake relay so that it is used as a brake or wye-delta
relay.

000A Inching or no inching. Enter 00 if inching is not available, 01 if there is inching.

This option is independent of the hydraulics. Programming the inching option validates the selection using 2
detectors. Do not validate this option on the Galaxy version encoder. Univers may be used but with version
V6_MCIE.

000B Gap from the lowest level of this elevator compared to the lowest level of the multiplex. All parameters such
as the choice of doors, level indicator as well as the level buttons are not adjusted in the PROM option. Only
the screen coding is taking into account regarding the lowest level of the elevator concerned and not the
multiplex.

000C Upper level of the multiplex compared to the lowest level of the battery.
Enter the upper level of the elevator (idem at address 0000).

For example:
Elevator A B C

Addresses 0000: 04 05 03 Top level of the elevator

000B: 01 00 00 Desynchronisation of the lowest level
000C: 05 05 05 Maximum battery level
Lowest cabin button: 01 00 00
(the same applies for door programming)
Note: In the example above, elevator A cannot be fitted with the “Float” option.
It is possible that the elevator does not serve all intermediate levels. In the example above, if the elevator B
cannot stop at level 2, then the door opening operation must be prevented (address 0122 and 0142=01).
However, the address 0102 must be 0.

000D “No service to fire levels” and “badge read” cards

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
│ │ │Badge2 │ Badge 1 ││ │ │NDNF1
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In case of no service to fire levels, set the bit 0 to 1 (NDNF1 to 1).

If therte is a badge reader for a non-selective elevator, set Badge1=1 and badge2=0. If there are
two badge readers for a selective elevator, set Badge1=0 and badge2=1.
Applies to version V7_MCID

000E Inspection speed

Set 00 for a high inspection speed.
01 for a low inspection speed.
For inspection the output Vins is set to 1, independent of the programming of this byte.

000F Pre-opening
Set 01 if preopening is available
00 if preopening is not available
If preopening is available, this is true for all levels and both accesses.
Programming the pre-opening option validates the selection using 2 detectors.

0010 NDS: Non Duplicate Start. Enter 01 in this case, otherwise 00 for any other. The pin SNDS is 24V for 3s
following the start. Before each start, the operation checks that the point
ENDS is not at 24 V. If so, the start is delayed. This option is independent of the power supply.

0011 Cabin empty option. Enter the number of cabin starts the cabin may make without anybody tripping the
reopening cell. This option requires the reopening cell. Enter 00 if there is no limit.

00 0012 Cleats, available from version V10_MCIE onwards (see document II.852-02)

0013 Patient elevator: if a 1 is entered a press on the level elevator call button reopens the door and resets the
door delay in spite of cabin commands. In complete collective, only pressing on the level button
corresponding to the direction indicated reopens the door. Inactive in locking mode. Avoid programming
this option in multiplex. Press the button once to trigger reopening, holding down has no affect.

0014 Float option. NOT AVAILABLE on MCI-D and E. If a 1 is entered, the input will be validated. If the input is
operated, the highest level and the lowest level will not be served at two speeds, and the lowest level
hydraulically. If the input returns to normal position, service to these two levels is possible. Only the lowest
level may be flooded. As a result, this option must not be programmed on an elevator not servicing the
lowest level. With this option, the “power supply ” option must be programmed and must be in the non-
flooding zone to move the elevator if it is at the lowest level when the float occurs.
N.B.: all special levels (emergency return, firefighting, auto, etc) must be in the non-flooding zone; carefully
note the number of basements.
Validation of this input causes an immediate stop followed by readjustment. In hydraulic motor, the
automatic return and lowest level is forced to 1 in float mode and returns to level 0 in normal mode.

0015 Out of order option. If 1 is entered in this space, the Out of service input is validated. If the input is validated,
all calls and sends will be instantly cancelled and the elevator will go to the shutdown level (address 0016).
For the emergency current option, the Out of service function may be validated without connecting the Out
of service input and without validating this address. The Out of service level and the emergency current
level must be identical. In hydraulic mode, this can only be the lowest level.
If 2 is entered in this space, then there are 2 return levels (fire option for example). In this case, the BPA
input will define the second level. If the carrier HS (out of service) input is activated without the BPA input:
return level = level in A015 if the carrier BPA input is activated without the HS (out of service) input: return
level = level in A0DB if the carrier BPA input is activated with the HS (out of service) input (elevator has
not returned to its return level): return level = level in A0D7.
If the elevator has returned to its return level and this level is on fire, the elevator does not move.
This applies to version V07_MCID.

0016 Out of service parking: See the comments for address 0015.

0017 Emergency current.

Bit 0: Validates the emergency current input. When the elevator is turned on, if this input is activated, the
elevator will wait until the fixed time (value defined by address 0019) has elapsed before readjusting if
necessary. The elevator will then go to the emergency power supply evacuation level (level indicated by the
address 0018).
Bit 1: Validates the Out of service once the elevator has been to the emergency current level. In this case
the elevator will no longer operate. Attention: the return level in A018 must be identical to the HS (out of
service) level in A016.
Bit 2: The elevator is connected to a UPS. In this case, the elevator readjusts to the nearest level or does
not move if it is already at a level. Door opening is also controlled. This option is only available on the VF
depending on the coder. Set the bits 0 and 1 to 1. Valid from the version V10_MCIE

0018 Emergency power evacuation level. (see address 0017)

0019 Emergency power immobilisation time. Emergency power evacuation level. If the emergency power is
active when the power is turned on the elevator will be immobilised for the value of this duration (in
seconds).

001A Special access. This option is only available on elevators equipped with an automatic cabin door with cam
(and limit switch) and if the address 0005 = 2. This option means that the two doors may not be opened
simultaneously. For details, consult the MCI documents. In multiplex mode, all elevators, or at least one,
must be “specialised”.

00 001B The elevator moves only according to cabin controls or security override
00 = Starts when security is re-established
01 = Starts following a cabin command

00 001C 00 = the elevator is adjusted to the nearest extreme level (If before the power went off, the microprocessor
recorded the cabin level)

02= readjustment to the lowest level

00 001D Collective with one button and interception in both directions

00 = Normal
01 = level requests are intercepted in both directions. Programme zero basements at address A001 and set
the address A005 to 02.
00 001E No contactor
01 = Contact or monitoring is inhibited. For example, the VF elevator without M and D without contactors in
the Cabinet (e.g.: Autinor and Galaxy)
02 = Deals with monitoring of all contactors, only available and connected on IMD.

01 001F 01 = This allows the ZISO output of the microprocessor to be validated if the cabin is located at a level and
If the elevator is not in inspection or controlled emergency descent mode.
03 = All errors from the SR block lock the elevator (the elevator is immobilised at present level
in electric mode and the lowest level in hydraulic mode).

0020 Operation of the main access door at level 0.

007E 01 : may be used to activate GV (hi speed) over short distances allowing the use of Vins (Beringer
model)
02: may be used to activate GV + PV (hi speed and low speed) normal movement (in the case of Z6
motor with screen selection)
Available from the version V10_MCIE.

007F Value of the detection delay for the function XPP or balustrade (in 0.1s).
This must be between 0.3s and 5s. Enter 14 hex (2s) as standard. The program will automatically adjust if
the value is not in this range. From version V06_MCIE.

1E 0080 Door delay at intermediate levels. Value in 0.1 s. This operates when the opening relay opens again. It
is reset for every strike, reopening button and reopening cell. It is decremented by one second if the close
button is pressed.

28 0081 Door delay defined at main levels by addresses 0091 and 0092. Same applies to the address 0080.

0082 Door operation control delay. Value in 0.5 s. The microcontroller controls the duration the door waits
for the opposite limit switch. This delay is used for operation of the open and closed relays if the door
is not fitted with a limit switch. Enter 0E for Olympia doors (about 7s)

B4 0083 Maximum starts in 1hour. There is a control for the number of trips in the MCI. The maximum number
of starts per hour that the installation can make is set. The microcontroller calculates the minimum
time between two starts. For example: 120 starts per hour = one start every 30 s. At the same time, a
number of trips are reserved (address 0084). In this example, this reserve will be incremented every
30 seconds and decremented for each trip. However, even without trips, this may not be more than
the fixed value in 0084.

10 0084 Trip reserve. See address 0083.

C8 0085 Maximum high speed (GV) operation without encountering screens. A different time of six seconds
exists when the elevator is blocked on its screen. Value in 0.1 s.

C8 0086 Maximum low speed (PV) operation without encountering screens. A different time of six seconds
exists when the elevator is blocked on its screen. Value in 0.1 s.

64 0087 Maximum ISO operation time. Value in 0.1 s.

64 0088 Lights or Ventilation relay operation time on the cabin microcontroller card following door closure.
Value in 0.1 s.

0089 Number of simultaneous sends authorised. Enter the value of the top level. Take the float variant into
account. Do not go above 0F HEX

00 008A Trip counter. Value multiplied by 10000. The operation increments the value of this registry every 10000
trips. The intermediate values are stored in RAM at addresses 00B5 and 00B6 (low load).

00 008B Level arrival delay (all contactors closed) and opening relay up. Value in 0.1 s.

0A 008C Brake relay operation time. This relay closes at the same time as the high-speed or low-speed (GV or
PV) relay. The time starts at this moment. Value in 0.1 s. N.B.: There is a delay between the closing of
the PV (low speed) relay and closing the D or M relay of about 50ms.
Put 19 in all cases.

00 008D Maximum number of reopenings. When there are trip commands, this operation limits the number of
reopenings. This option is no longer available for Thyssen elevators (no limit).

00 008E Delay on arrival from the moment the cam relay opens and the opening relay closes . Value in increments
of 0.1 s. If the value is less than 7FH, the cam relay opens after the closing of the opening relay.

008F Emergency return level high. Value related to the lowest level (possibly taking into account the multiplex
adjustment). This is the destination when the button P1 on the carrier is pressed. In emergency return
phase, the elevator goes straight to the return level cancelling all calls and sends previously recorded. If it
is going the opposite direction, then it will stop at the next possible level, open its doors and then go to
the return level where it will then reopen the doors. Enter the upper level if there is no emergency return
level.

0090 Emergency return level low. Value related to the lowest level (possibly taking into account the multiplex
adjustment). This is the destination when button P2 on the carrier is pressed. Enter the lowest level if
there is no emergency return

0091 Main access level. Value relative to the lowest level of the elevator.
May be used to allocate a different door delay from other levels. Used in multiplex mode; in this case, level
calls at this level and cabin parking at this level take priority.

0092 Other main level. In general, set the same value as in 0091

0093 Firefighter return level.

The firefighter option is always programmed.

00 0094 The operation writes a value if there is a memory write error.

00 0095 « « « « « «
00 0096 Counter used in the absence of memory entry.

00 0097 Records the cabin position at the moment a power cut occurs.

00 0098 Inhibition
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
│ │ │ │ │ │Bit 1 │ Bit 0

Bit 0 = 1: The elevator will be completely immobilised after a controlled emergency descent, inspection or
reset. If a value of 1 is entered before a controlled emergency descent, operation will be possible until the
switch returns to normal (the same applies to inspection). Delete Bit 0 to restart
Bit 1 = 1: The elevator will no longer open its doors (normal movement)
N.B.: BPA has no obligatory option. Locking the doors using the Inib input is no longer possible (as with
MCIC)

00 0099 Delay between the closing of the PV (low speed) relay and closing of the M or D contactor. Value
increments of 0.1 s. This possibility is used on the Beringer model, ISOSTOP12 or VF in order to ensure a
perfect stop of the elevator. N.B.: At each start, the PV or GV (low speed or high-speed) relay closes first;
the microcontroller ensures that this contactor closes (max time = 0.5s). If the test is correct, then it closes
the M or D contactor and tests it after a maximum duration of 0.5s.
Set 1.5 seconds for the Galaxy and Univers elevators with a screen selection, 0 for selection by encoder.
Enter 0.8 seconds for others (Autinor, KEB, etc).

00 009A Delay between closure of the M or D relay and opening of the PV (low speed) relay. Value in increments of
0.1 s.

02 009B Value represents the company using the application. For TASA, enter the value 02.

009C Operation of level indicators and arrows

Bit7 │ Bit6 │ Bits │ Bit4 │Bit3 │ Bit2 │ Bit 1 │ Bit 0

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------0-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bit 0 or 1 = 1 The indicators flash during movement.

Bit 0 or 1 = 0 The level indicators are stable during movement.
Bit 2 = 1: The level arrows and the occupied indicator output flash during
movement. Bit 2 = 0 , these outputs remain stable during movement.

Bit 3 = 1: The fault output flashes if the elevator is in inspection or emergency

controlled descent mode. (it is static if there is a fault). If this bit is 0, the fault indicator does not light during
inspection or during a controlled emergency descent (except if there is a fault).
In multiplex mode, it is preferable that the level indicators do not flash. If there are no next start arrows or
level gong, then the arrows may be made to flash.
Bit 4 = 1: The occupied indicator output operates similar to the movement relays. It
is used to provide power to the start counter (available from version V8_MCID and only in MCID).

Bit 5 = 1: The fault output goes to 1 at the same time that the fault
information is transmitted to TST6, generally 40 seconds after a fault appears.
Bit 6 = 1: Activation of the call register beep of the MCIE level cards. Available
from version V2_MCIE.
Bit 7 = 1: Deactivates the level gong on Link. On Capella, the arrows and the
gong no longer operate.

06 009D Level indicator signal pulse width. Presently 6 ms. No longer used for MCID

00 009E Delay between the logic 10 and closing of the contactors. (Value in 0.1 s).

0F 009F Maximum number of inching tries with contactor default.

00 00AO Additional duration of ascending inching operation. Value in 0.1 seconds. The microcontroller delays the
closing of contactors by the value at this address following the interruption of the SEL beam.

00 00A1 Additional duration of descending inching operation. Value in 0.1 seconds. The microcontroller delays the
closing of contactors by the value at this address following the interruption of the SEL beam.

05 00A2 Number of locking attempts. This operation completes a number of reopenings in order to complete
locking.

05 00A3 Number of unlocking attempts. This operation completes a number of closures or cam closures to
complete unlocking.

00A4 Locking time. Value in 0.1 s. Maximum time between logic 8 and a 10. Enter 19 or 2.5 seconds for a
PAC or standard PACP.
Enter 64 or 10s for a 4xOC door.
Do not enter an excessive value because, in multiplex, it is at the end of this time multiplied by the number
of attempts that the appliance will leave the multiplex.

00A5 Time before automatic return to the level programmed in AOA7. Value in 255s
00A6 Time « « « Value in s.
Simply programming a value in one of these two spaces will activate automatic return.

00A7 Automatic return level. May be any level between the lowest level and the highest level. Programming the
hydraulic mode does not activate this option or the return level.

00 00A8 Operation of the door motor during elevator operation

00 : the motors for the two-operator door have no power during movement
01: the motor for the main operator has power during movement
02: the motor for the opposite operator has power during movement
03: both motors have power during movement. The Olympia doors require operation of the motor
during elevator operation.

Bit 4 to 1: the power supply to the main door will be maintained at the end of opening and for the door
duration (for example, in the case of the F8 doors). Available from version V10_MCIE.
Bit 5 to 1: the power supply to the opposite access door will be maintained at the end of the opening
operation and for the door delay
00 00A9 Movement extension when the cabin has entered a stop zone. Value in 0.01 s. Valid in both directions.

00 00AA Storage by the microprocessor of the version number each time power is turned on. Enter 00 in the
beginning.

00 00AE and 00AF Storage of the number of starts without power. Enter 00 in these two spaces
(00AE storage of the high part of the number).

00 00B0 Obligatory level stop. The elevator stops every time it passes this level (except during priority service).
Enter 00 if the option is not required.

00 0OB1 Activates the booster input.

00 = Normal
01 = The Float input becomes the booster input. In other words, each time this input is modified, the
integrator is reset to 0. Passage in front of a screen has no affect on the integrator. The validation of this
address deactivates the float option. The integrator time is equal to the GV and PV (high speed and low
speed) time (programmable by Pome).

00 00B2 00 = Normal
01 = Opening of the IMD input results in a stop if the cabin is in a deceleration zone.

00 0083 Activates an immediate stop if the critical limit of the thermal sensor is reached.
00 = Stop at the next level
01 = Immediate stop
02 = As in case 00, however upon arrival, the elevator doors open (requirement RATP or fire in Belgium)

00 00B4 The ArU input becomes prohibitive.

00 = Normal
01 = If the ArU input is open, the elevator is locked until intervention. Do not programme hydraulic mode.

00 00B6 00 =Normal
01 = The Occupied output goes to 1 during inching (in the case of an elevator with auxiliary inching).
02 = The occupied output goes to 1 during inching and movement of the elevator (in the case of an anti-run-
back on a limit or stop in the case where there is no pulley block machinery).
03 = The Occupied output may be used to provide power to a time or movement counter.
04 = The Occupied output may be used as a power supply for the stop on the Univers model. A contact on
the stop is connected to the FcH input that is checked for each start and movement. During inspection and
controlled emergency descent, this input is not checked.
In the MCID program version, only the values 0, 1 and 2 are managed. Also, the SNDS output controlled
this function. Consequently, on these versions, the “non-duplicate start” option was not permitted. If an
MCIE version is used on elevators with this address an anything other than 0, then the relay power supply
on the NDS output towards the “Occupied” output must be changed.

00 00B7 This may be used to operate the movement counter for a specific level (except for level 0). Program the
required level. Enter 0 for a counter operating for all movements (normal, inspection and inching are
excluded).

00 0088 00= French firefighter

01= “Malaysian” firefighter. For operation, the firefighter must press the Close button or the Start button
(Input 4/F5) followed by the destination level. To open the doors following a trip, the firefighter must press
the reopening button until the door is fully open. This is activated with the V5_MCIE.

From version V11_MCIE, this address operates as follows:

00 = French firefighter
01 = European firefighter in accordance with the EN 81-72 standard. Attention, the output for alerting the
maintenance engineers in case of an inspection is the output “Vent” and not the output “LU”. Remember this
when changing the specific firefighter version. This option may be associated with the MEMCO remote
station alarm option.
02 = “Malaysian” firefighter. For operation, the firefighter must press the Close button or the Start button
(Input 4/F5) followed by the destination level. To open the doors following a trip, the firefighter must press
the reopening button until the door is fully open. Attention: if this version is put on an elevator installed with a
previous version, modify the value of this address to 01.
03 = “Australian” firefighter. The firefighter function maybe operated using the in-cabin FIREFIGHTER
input.

00 00B9 Bit0 = 01: “South African, Belgian” firefighter. To make the trip, the firefighter must also activate “cabin only
use”
Bit1 = 01: “Dutch, Swiss and Belgian” firefighter. During firefighter operation, the CS (reopening cells)
are deactivated. (The cell is connected to the connection card)
The Malaysian firefighter option may be combined with these options.

00 00BA Frequency variation: If 1 is entered at this address, there is no overlap between closing of the PV (low
speed) contactor and opening of the GV (high speed) contactor. This is used in the VF version to
increase the stop precision between short trips and normal trips

00 00BB Timing between the appearance of 8 and door closure or the closure of the cam. Value in 0.1 seconds.
Only available for a manual door or PAC. If the value is zero, the value is changed to 0.5 seconds by the
programme (to ensure compatibility with other operations already installed).

01 = Selection by initiator connected to each level card (English firefighter or Float).
NOT AVAILABLE.

00C2 01 = Detection of level door open (XPP 82511-611). In this case, a contact on each door connected to the
RES input of the level card is read (see function 3 at address 0500). This solution is obligatory for the XPP
with swinging doors, due to the fact that the security point “8” cannot be checked. Available from version
V05_MCIE. Do not programme A0CC.
Bit 1 to 0: The contacts checking the status of doors are operation contacts (contact open if the level door is
closed); put these in parallel if there is double access. All levels must be wired.
Bit 1 to 1: The contacts checking the status of doors are rest contacts (contact closed if the level door is
closed); put these in series if there is double access. All levels must be wired.
Bit 2 to 1: If a level door is going to open when the elevator is not present, the elevator is stopped. Only
changing to inspection or controlled emergency descent mode will free the elevator. (applies from
version V7 MCIE onwards)

00C3 Possible option of emergency request at several levels (added 12/01/2001)

00 = If an emergency request is activated then only the call level is indicated
01 = If an emergency request is activated then all call levels are indicated

00C9 01 = Phase absent option. Activates the input Ph (default if the contact is open).

00CA 00 = No ventilation in the cabin

01 = The ventilation operates synchronously with the timed light in the cabin
02 = Ventilation operates according to the “ventilation” key switch on the control panel (monostable)
03 =function)
Ventilation operates as in 02 but only if the elevator is occupied
04 = Ventilation operates according to push button on the control panel (bistable function)
05 = Ventilation operates as in case 4 but only if the elevator is occupied
The functions 1, 4 and 5 do not work on the control panel. The ventilation time is programmed at
the address 0086.
N.B.: If the value is 1 ("off the control panel"), this option will only function correctly if V6_MCIE
is installed.

00CB Reserved for the programme. The microprocessor puts a 1 in this space if the ventilation button is
activated.

00CC XPP 82 511 standard

Activates the buzzer output on the cabin roof and covered lighting if the safeguards fail during operation.
Detection of the stop button in the pit is done by the D input on card number 0.
Do not program this address if the independent contact of the swinging door is connected to the level card
(see address AOC2).

000D-000E Code value so that the control panel may function with the digicode function. This function is
sold with the control panel. 00CD is the high value and 00CE is the low value.

00CF Cleat input function on the cabin card

=00 -> nothing
=01 -> Contact over upper limit in hydraulic mode
=02 -> Digicode (a pulse on this input activates all cabin sends
for the time defined in OOD4, otherwise all sends are prevented). If the input is still
activated, the sends are active. This function is processed by the operation and is therefore added to the
access control in the control panel room if there is one. Available from version V6_MCID. When the value is
not 0, do not program the cleat as 0012.
=03 -> indicates a fault on the link board
=04 -> Validates all cabin sends to the basements programmed in the address 0001 if the cleat
input is closed.
=05 -> Activates the balustrade option (see II-852)
00D0 to 00D3 Reserved addresses, not used

00D4 Validation duration of the cabin sends when the input linked to the digicode function is activated as
defined in OOCF. Available from version V5 MCID.
Unit: 0.1 s (for example: 5 seconds -> value to be returned: 32h)

00D5 If this address is set to 1, the Val input is used for in-cabin badge reading. In this case, one (or 2) input
cards process the information from the badge reader and authorise or not the cabin send. If the Val input is
1, sends are authorised independently of the badge reader. If this is set to 0, cabin sends depend on the
badge reader.
N.B.: The Val input (with OOD5 set to 1) deactivates the Out of service function.
Apllies from V07 MCID.
= 2 : The Val input checks the fire detection in Belgium. In this case, the elevator stops at the first level
it encounters, opens the doors for a minimum of 15 seconds (see A0B3) and remains stopped until
intervention. The buzzer sounds for 15 seconds and the Evac indicator lights. Available from the
version
V4_MCIE.
= 3; The input detects a fire at level, connected to this input. Consequently, the elevator will go to the
parking level determined by the addresses AOD7 and AOD8 according to the state of the HS input. The
elevator then remains out of service.
= 4; European firefighter, input connection “Pre firefighter” on VAL. In the case of the building using a fire
detection system, this allows the cabin to return to the firefighter level without using the firefighter system.
= 5; In firefighter mode this may be used to take the badge reader into account to avoid access to
undesired levels.

00D6 If the value is 1, the “Strike” input (as well as the reopening button) of the connection card will behave in
the same way as the CS input (reopening cell). This is true for the 2 access doors and is independent of
the selectivity. This is true from version V07_MCID.

00D7 Return level in case of Out of service (generally due to a fire) if the BPA and HS inputs are activated
and the address A015 is 2. Available from version V07_MCID.

00D8 Return level in case of Out of service (generally due to a fire) if the BPA input is activated, the HS input
is not activated (the address A015 must be 2). This applies from the version V07_MCID.

00DA Reserved
00DB Entering 1 will indicate the code value of the level card on the MCI-E Link level display which controls
this display (for example: display A04 for level card 4 access 1, B
for access 2). Available from version V2_MCIE.

00DC According to the frequency crystal fitted to the main card. This allows the older MCID cards to work
with the MCIE programme.
If a 22,182 MHz frequency crystal is used (main boards 747 768 lxx) enter 0,
if a 20,000 MHz frequency (main boards 747 768 Oxx) enter 1,

00DD Reopening delay. Value subtracted from the fixed door duration in A080 and A081. Available from version
V4 MCIE. For example, if A080 is set to four seconds, if three seconds is entered (1 EH) at this address,
the reopening duration will be one second.

00DE If 1 is entered at this address, a new call during the deceleration phase corresponding to the
direction being served will be immediately deletes.

00DF Type of remote monitoring.

0590 Automatic return level if the automatic return option is activated at address 0595, elevator in time
period 1.
Return is possible using the external input Float if it is activated. For this, the address 0595 must be 1 and
the address 0596 must be 1. In this case, the automatic returns according to time periods defined by the TST6 are
inhibited.

0591 Automatic return level if the automatic return option is activated at address 0595, elevator in time
period 2.
Return is possible using the Inib external input if it is activated. For this, the address 0595 must be 1 and
address 0596 must be 1. In this case, automatic returns according to time periods defined by the TST6 are
inhibited.

0592 Automatic return level if the automatic return option is activated at address 0595, elevator in time
period 3.

0593 Automatic return level if the automatic return option is activated at address 0595, elevator in time
period 4.

0594 Time Delay in seconds before the elevator returns to the level defined in addresses 0590 to 0593 after
it is free.

0595 Activation of automatic returns according to internal clock (if TST6 is linked to a control centre) or an
external clock by activating the inputs Inib or Flot. The option is activated only if the level and time periods are
correctly programmed.
Note: With regard to the addresses 0580 to 0595, when automatic return according to the external input
clock is active, the TST6 clock option is inhibited.

0596 If this address is 1, it activates the inputs Flot and Inib for automatic return to the levels programmed in
0590 and 0591.
If this address is set to 2, this activates the Flot and Inib inputs to indicate peak demand. See the
addresses 0597 and 0598.
In these two cases, the Flot and Inib inputs are no longer used for their original function.

0597 If the input Flot is 1 and address 0596 is 2, the ascending calls will be penalised by the value at this
address. The base corresponds to 0.5s. To fully penalise ascending calls, enter FE at this address.

0598 If the input Inib is 1 and address 0596 is 2, the descending calls will be penalised by the value at this
address. The base corresponds to 0.5s. To fully penalise ascending calls, enter FE at this address.
