RC = Ride Comfort.
Gal = vibration acceleration rate (1 gal = 1 cm/s²).
Gal is used to measure peak acceleration of the elevator
car vibration.

8
The benchmark at the moment is the % of failure rate being
as close as possible to 0%. This means all IQE
measurements should be under 2, which is installation to
maintenance handover limit as well.

9
BTF = Back-to-front
DBG = Distance between guide rails

13
Both directions are needed. The measurements can be
started from bottom floor as well.

15
X = Back-to-front
Y = Rail-to-rail
Z = Vertical
S = Sound

16
17
18
X_max_a and Y_max_a must meet lateral vibration limits.
Z_max_a must meet vertical vibration limit.
Max_sound must meet sound limit.

19
Accepted values must be inside the limits.
The limits are defined according to speed and class.

Safety critical issues must be corrected immediately.
Inform the supervisor whether the elevator meets the RC
specification or not.
Send the final measurements to SAP (up and down).
