Definition of Terms

Mosquito patch A type of adhesive patch that contains a

substance that can repel mosquitoes.

Cymbopogon citratus A perennial grass that has been intentionally

introduced in tropical and subtropical regions
of the world for the essential oil extracts from
its leaves and to be used as a culinary and
medicinal herb and provides a fragrance that
insects find repulsive, making it a natural
mosquito repellent.

Calendula officinalis Is a flowering plant that belongs to the same

family as daisies, chrysanthemums and
ragweed and have an odor that mosquitoes
find repulsive

Garlic A plant in the Allium family which are used

as a spice in cooking and the Sulfurs found on
it are effective at repelling mosquitoes
