In the “Approval Process Creation Overview” image, the Step 2 and Step 3 table headers both say “Create the Approval Process
De nition.”

Hello, Ali! That is right. ‘Approval Process De nition’ refers to the rst section of the Approval Process set up. If you would
take a look into the 9th slide (Approval Processes Setup) of the same toggle, the screenshot of the example approval process
con guration has a section label of ‘Process De nition Detail’.

In the ‘Create Approval Processes’ section for the Record Editability attribute , it states ‘Option to set if the record owner as well as the
Administrator should be able to edit the record while it is being approved.’ Should this not say ‘ Option to set if the Currently Assigned
Approver as well as the Administrator should be able to edit the record while it is being approved’ instead?

Hi, Deepa! Thanks for sharing your comment and for pointing it out! You are right and we agree. We will update the term
accordingly.

In the ash card, why the answer to “what type of actions can be set for approval or rejection” is “locking/unlocking the record, on the
homepage, respond to email, in app noti cations, Chatter”? Why not Create a Task, Email Alert, Field Update and Outbound Message?
Thanks.

Why are the Scenario / Appropriate Automation Solution examples listed rst before I’ve learned about any of the processes? It might
make more sense for that graphic to appear after all information, but before the ashcards so that I can apply what I’ve learned to the
situations. Thank you!

Thank you for that feedback. We are certainly taking note of your suggestion especially since we continue to improve on our
materials.

Why it is not here anything related to ows (Flow Builder)?

Thank you for asking. We pattern our study guides according to the actual Salesforce Certi ed Administrator exam
objectives. For the Work ow/Process Automation section, Flow Builder isn’t actually included yet. We do have it in other
certi cations where it is required knowledge. https://trailhead.salesforce.com/help?article=Salesforce-Certi ed-

I am familiar with SF Lightning, and I remember seeing somewhere that Work ow is being deactivated in SF and process builder will be
taking it over. Is this true?

Hi, thanks for your reply. It’s true that in Salesforce, Process Builder is called ‘the latest and the greatest’, but Work ow is still
in use, and it’s very important to know about it and its functionalities for the exam, because you will get questions about it for
sure. In some cases, Work ow rules would be more appropriate to use.
