Eye Care: Our eyes are priceless:
➢ We should not study in very low and very bright light it may
cause eye or head ache.
➢ Regular examination of our eyes should be done, if the doctor
advises use of glasses one should do the same.
➢ Do not look directly at the Sun, flashlight or laser, it can
damage the retina.
➢ We should not rub our eyes. If any dust particles fall into the
eyes, then the eyes should be washed with clean water.
➢ Wash your eyes with clean water at least three to four times a
day.
➢ Keep the book at a normal distance
while reading. If kept too close or far
away, eye damage can occur.
➢ Vitamin A deficiency causes a disease
called night-blindness, so consume
vitamin-A rich foods like raw carrot,
cabbage and green vegetables in
maximum quantity.
➢ Vitamin A is found in plenty in cod
liver oil, milk, yogurt, cheese, butter and in fruits like mango, papaya, etc.
