Calculating Body Mass Index (BMI):
Body Mass Index is a simple calculation using a person's height and weight. The formula is BMI =
kg/m2 where kg is a person's weight in kilograms and m2 is their height in meters squared.
Formula: Weight (kg) / [Height (m)]2
The formula for BMI is weight in kilograms divided by height in meters squared. If height
has been measured in centimeters, divide by 100 to convert this to meters.
