 Read the text and answer the questions.

New Year's resolutions

For the next year I will have as purpose to start going to the gym to regulate my physical
condition, stop consuming intoxicating drinks because I must have more time invested in
my work projects.
I must start my productive phase to be able to graduate from the technology in data
network management, for which another of my purposes is to create a company with an
emphasis on computer security and the Ctv. system.
A personal purpose is to share more spaces with my children, travel with them to different
places in the country, I will also propose to meet my spiritual side because I am convinced
that both mind and body should be connected.
And finally, I have to change personal aspects, because sometimes I take away the people
I love for my actions.
I will also propose to get a vehicle which will help me to improve the assistance to my
clients in their due locations and start making a specialization in the subject of security and
connectivity to be a competent professional and give my clients the correct and effective
advice in its time.

Answer the questions?

1. Explain in your own words what is a New Year resolution?

A New Year resolution is a personal and spiritual space, in order to improve aspects that
were not positive in the past and in the same way, to increase the good ones so that these
are more prosperous in the long term, each person has a life project and as such with this
is making their own existence more pleasant and bearable.
 2. What will be the first purpose in she beginning of the year?

According to your answer, you have said that your first resolution for the beginning of the
year will be to go to the gym to improve your physical condition.
3. Will this person stop eating junk food? Why?

She has not mentioned at any time to stop eating junk food; however, what she does
mention is that she will stop drinking alcoholic beverages because she must invest more
time in her work projects.
4. What type of company will this person create?

This person wants to create in the future a company that has emphasis on computer
security and television control system.
5. Why will this person get a new car?

She says it is to help her improve assistance to my clients in their proper locations.

III. Output (50 points)

Instructions:
Situation: We are in October and the year is almost over. It is time to think about our new
year´s resolutions.
Questions: What are you going to do for Christmas? What are your plans for new year?
What are your new year’s resolutions? Are you thinking about your future plans? What
are your future plans?

Activity:
Write a short paragraph where you are solving the situation above
 The paragraph should be at least 150-200 words
 Use a word document with a cover letter (name- group number- institution and its
logo)
 Upload it on Territorium on the specified date.

To share with my family, to spend more time with my parents and my mother-in-
law so that my sister and her husband can join us.

For the New Year, to finish my education and give way to the productive stage in
which I can exercise all the knowledge acquired as a Digital Animator and to make
my family feel proud of me.

The purposes continue taking care of my family, have a good job, continue training,
give the best to my wife and my baby, support them to move forward and help my
parents in what they may need, visit my mother in law in Popayán and know this
beautiful place.

To have an animation studio called CLAW Animations Studios, to see my baby grow
up, to give him the best future he deserves and to see my wife working in her
professions. To have very good health to live life to the fullest with my beautiful
family that I love very much.

To finish my technological training in Digital Animation, to practice the career that I

love and every day I am more passionate about, to have a stable job, to have very
good health, to have a house to give to my family, to be able to travel with my wife,
my baby, my parents and my mother-in-law to know all Colombia and outside the
country as well. To have a car and improve my economic conditions.
