The Bharath Cvclc Design Challenge (BCDC) is arn initiative to cncouragc
innovation and creativity in the design and making of bicvcles. The
challenge sccks to promote sustainablc transportation and provide
solutions to thc challengcs faccd by the public in India. Thc compctition
invites student tcams to design aCycle that is affordable, cco-fricndly, and
suits the needs of the Indian market.
The compctition involves two basic themes which are design and
prototyping of Commute & Cargo Cycle with subcategory of EV/Non
EV.
The workflow of competition follows a four stagc proccss which are Concept
Devclopment (3rd Junc- 15th July), Prototyping (I st August), Testing and
Evaluation (1st Scpt 301h Scp) & Grand Finale with showcasing of
AICTE HO.

a) The organizers reserve the right to modify or amend the rules and regulations of
the competition if necessary.
b) Changes, if any, shall be communicated to participants on time.
