information, details, and necessary things that you should know before
you become a part of our department.
→ Abusing any of these powers given to you will result in an immediate

removal from the Moderation Team or a suspension depending on the
severity of your action.
→ All documents in the mod server are to remain CONFIDENTIAL within the
moderation department, if anyone is caught leaking, you will be removed.
→ The Moderation Team’s general duties are to moderate at the hotel, in

the Discord, and attend to tickets requiring in-game moderation.

Admin Abuse
In the moderation department admin abuse is strictly forbidden. Anybody

caught admin abusing WILL face consequences. These punishments can
be a suspension to a removal from the moderation team depending on the
severity. Here are a few examples of admin abuse:

Cosmetic commands -> ;face, ;hat, ;shirt, ;pant.
If you are not sure whether or not a command is AA, please DM a fellow
moderator, who can help you, or ping one in the Moderation server.
Although admin abuse is prohibited in public servers, you are permitted to
play with your commands in private servers, also known as VIP servers! If
you see a fellow moderator abusing their commands please report them to
a CA+ with proof! You can gather this proof from chat logs or admin logs.

Requirements
As a game moderator, you’re gonna have requirements to complete each
week. These requirements are 6 ban requests, and 200 minutes of game
time, which will be logged through Hyra. There is a spreadsheet found in
the same channel under #guides where your requirements are kept
tracked.
We have a channel called #ban-request where you are to file ban requests
for those who need pbans. To file a ban request, use the format in pinned
messages, and fill it out accordingly. For trollers, caps abusers, and minor
spammers, you are to warn them once. If they continue, you are to kick
them by using the ;kick command manually or !warn command twice in a
row allowing the system to automatically kick them. In addition to this, if
you kick the user once and they return, you are to warn them once more
and then file a ban request. Community Moderators+ will react with a
check mark once they’ve been banned, and the activity will then be logged
through the spreadsheet. You can kick them after that with the reason for
their kick.
Once you have passed the phase 2 of Moderation applications, you will be
promoted to the first official rank in the moderation department, which is
Junior Moderator. You are required to maintain professionalism at all
times, whether it be in-game or on Discord. 3 strikes equal a demotion,
strikes are given to those who don’t complete their weekly requirment. Feel
free to appeal in a CA+ DMs. If you can’t complete requirements one week
feel free to file an inactivity notice on Hyra so you won’t be striked for the
period that you are not able to complete requirements. Inactivity notice’s
are NOT to be abused and you will have a 3 week cooldown until you can
apply for another inactivity notice.

In-Game Moderation
Command: !warn <player’s username>

Scenarios
➢ Staff members argument - If you witness two staff members arguing

in game, ask them to take it to DM or whisper mode as it can be
disruptive to our guest and paint a bad image on Solera. If both
staff are using bad languages, you are permitted to kick them and
request a demotion first, either opening a ticket or pinging an Elite
Mod+ or HR+, and then requesting a pban.
➢ MR+ abuse/immaturity - If you see an MR+ being immature(arguing

with others, not using grammar), or abusing commands, you are to
open a staff report ticket in #support, where you will then follow the
format to report the staff.
➢ Staff members trolling - If you witness a staff trolling at the hotel,

give them a warning verbally and then, request a demotion on the
staff via #support in the Discord server. Please do not use
commands on the staff members until they are demoted, in which
then you may kick them with a message saying they are demoted, to
which they can rejoin the game.
➢ Exploiter - If you happen to come across a staff/guest who is

exploiting, gather valid evidence and request a pban in the Discord.
If they are a staff member, you are to request a demotion first, and
then a pban. You may use ;view (user) command on the exploiter to
gather proofs and you must try your best to stay calm and not
attract any attention from the staff.
➢ Guests trolling - If a guest is trolling at the hotel, use the !warn

command and after 3 warnings, they’ll be kicked from the server. If
they rejoin and continue to disturb and troll, you are to give them
another warning. Once they have 4 warnings you are to gather
evidence and request a pban. (This does NOT go for staff who troll)
➢ A moderator abusing - If you witness a moderator abusing their

command, cap abuse, lacking grammar or acting immaturely, gather
evidence and report it to CA+ of Mod.

FAQ
❖ Can Moderators train?
➢ Moderators cannot train, only HOS+ that are not moderators
can assist at training. Along with this, they cannot spectate
training.
❖ Can Moderators host shifts?
➢ Moderators cannot host shifts, as shifts are the executive
team’s duty to host. However, moderators can attend shifts to
show their activity.
❖ Do Moderators still need the staff badge?
➢ The staff badge is required as you are still working here as a
Moderator, you will be needing to wear the uniform. If you do
not have the badge, you can wear the staff uniform with you
while you moderate servers.
❖ Do I still need to open up a ticket when reporting a staff member,
inquiries or appeals?
➢ Yes, you still need to open up a ticket when reporting
members, having questions or appealing something.
❖ Is grammar required when working in the hotel?
➢ Yes, grammar as it is required for Senior Staff and every MR
rank. As we need to show professionalism and pleasant
demeanor towards fellow staff, our guests, SS+ are required to
use grammar.
❖ Can I become an HR as a moderator?
➢ The moderation team is separate from the executive team and
it has a different progression. The moderation ranks go as
follow - Game Moderator (app passers) -> Junior Moderator
(activity and maturity) -> Community Moderator (perform with
extreme maturity, professionalism and great work ethic) -> Elite
Moderator (chosen by CA+ of Moderation) -> CA of Moderation
(chosen by CMO) -> CMO (Chosen via SHR vote).
❖ Is there a cooldown on moderation?
➢ Yes, cooldown for game moderator to junior moderator is 2-3
weeks and cooldown for junior moderator to community
moderator is 1-2 month(s).
