Role-play
Work with a partner. You are a tour guide, prepare an
announcement to present to the tourists
Situation 1:
A car has crashed into the tour bus – the bus is damaged and
cannot be driven anymore. Tell your passengers that you have
telephoned for a replacement to come but it will take 2 hours to
get there. Offer some drinks while they wait for the new bus.

Situation 2:

You have just arrived at the Night Safari. The police have told
you that there was a fire and the staff is busy cleaning the place.
Therefore, the Night Safari is closed today. Tell your tourists
the bad news and suggest an alternative.

Remember to ask what the tourist needs first. After the tourist
has recovered, show your concern by asking how he/she is feeling
