The reformer of the modern medical science and the father of Homoeopathic medical system Doctor Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann was born on 10th April 1755 at Meissen, in Saxony of Germany. With the help of his father Gottfired and mother Johanna Christiana he learned to read and write. Due to poverty he struggled to finish his early education life at school. In 1775 at the age of 20 he left for Leipsic for higher studies in medicine. He took his father’s advice to heart ‘Prove all things, hold fast that which is good. Besides of studying medicine he earned his bread and butter by teaching and translating book from different languages. From Leipsic he went to Vienna where the advantages for medical study were much greater.
