1-5. How can sports and games be classified?

- Sports and Games are very similar: a game is a physical or mental activity or contest that has
rules and that people do for pleasure. A sport is a contest or game in which people do certain
physical activities according to a specific set of rules and compete against each other. The
difference is subtle.

1-6. How traditional games are being classified?

- Classification of traditional games is based on two signs, ethnic and calendar. Ethnic status of
games (Russian, Yakut ones, and others) is defined by ritual and semiotic features. Calendar
status of games is set by national holidays, in the course of which they are held.

1. Are games related to child training?
- Games can help your child develop skills such as social skills. Many games aren’t played alone,
rather they are played with other.

2. Are sports related to warfare and the other forms of aggression?
- They are related to social and political complexity, to how children are raised, and aggressive
sports are related to warfare.

3. Are there gender difference om games and sports?
- Boys’ play tends to be more active and sport related, whereas girls’ play often is more passive,
physically restricted, and quiet. Gender-stereotypical toys have been emphasized throughout
childhood and adolescence.

1-5. Is play important for adults?

- Play for adults is critical in our stressful go-go-go lives. Play has been shown to release endorphins,
improve brain functionality, and stimulate creativity. And it can even help to keep us young and feeling
energetic.

1.6. Do humans need to play?

- It can encourage creativity, planning, problem solving, and a whole bunch of task-specific skills like
spatial reasoning and logic. For both humans and animals, play is a low-risk way to develop our cognitive
abilities.
