1. Nakikilala ang mga bahagi ng aklat (cover, mga pahina, etc).
2. Naituturo / Nababasa ang pamagat ng kuwento.
3. Natatalakay ang mga larawan sa cover ng aklat.
4. Nasasabi ang mga ginagawa ng mga awtor at ilustrador ng
aklat.
5. Mahinuha kung ano ang kuwento batay sa pamagat at mga
larawan sa cover ng aklat.
6. Mailipat ang mga pahina ng aklat mula simula hanggang
huling pahina.
7. Naituturo kung saan dapat magsimulang magbasa sa bawat
pahina.

8. Naituturo ang unang bahagi ng kuwento

9. Tumitingin / humahawak ng mga babasahin
10. Nagbubuklat ng mga babasahin
11. Kunwakunwariang nagbabasa
12. Nagpapakita ng interes sa pakikinig ng mga kuwento
14. Nagyayayang sa magulang o guro na magkuwento upang
makapakinig siya sa mga kuwento.
15. Tumitingin sa mga larawang nakadikit sa mga dingding,
larawan sa mga babasahin.
