A recent customer survey 

demonstrated  that many of the changes proposed for our confectionary range
are regarded as negative. The survey asked 500 people to comment on the new version of Chocomax
chocolate bar. The  majority of respondents thought that the original product was bigger and tested
better. Over half of those surveyed were unlikely to buy this product if the price increases, although
around a third of the target audience would pay more for a better quality product. Just under half of the
customers thought the new recipe used cheaper ingredients, so three quarters sais that the quality of
the product didn’t reflect the luxury brand image. Besides a quarter would like to see more flavours
introduced to the range. Almost none of the respondents preferred the flavour of the new recipe
compared to the original. In summary, the survey confirmed that we should change our plans and try a
new strategy of development. We thank our customers for their objective opinion about the new version
of our product. In further production, we will try to take into account all comments and improve the
technology and ingredients. We really want to live up to the image of a luxury company, so we will put a
lot of effort into improvement. We are also still concerned about product advertising. We are carrying
out some additional market research on this issue.
