1.0 SPECIFICATIONS :
1.1 ALL WORKS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE "DPWH STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS, 2013 EDITIONS, VOLUME II-HIGHWAYS, 12.0 STANDARD DRAWINGS :
BRIDGES AND AIRPORTS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND SUPPLEMENTAL SPECIFICATIONS TO THIS PROJECT. 12.1 THE NECESSARY DRAWINGS CONTAINED IN THE DPWH STANDARD DRAWINGS FOR ROADS AND BRIDGES SHALL BE UTILIZED FOR
THIS PROJECT, UNLESS OTHERWISE A MORE DETAILED DRAWING IS SPECIFIED AND/OR PROVIDED AND APPROVED.
2.0 DIMENSIONS : 12.2 BEFORE THE START OF ACTUAL CONSTRUCTION, THE AS-STAKED PLAN SHOULD BE SUBMITTED TO THE REGIONAL OFFICE IN
2.1 ALL DIMENSIONS ARE IN METERS UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED. ORDER THAT IMMEDIATE STEPS MAY BE UNDERTAKEN TO ADJUST OR CORRECT WHATEVER APPRECIABLE DEVIATION THERE

3.0 STATIONINGS AND RADIUS OF HORIZONTAL CURVE : 13.1 THIS ITEM SHALL CONSIST OF STONE MASONRY IN MINOR STRUCTURES, IN HEADWALLS FOR CULVERTS, IN RETAINING WALLS AT THE TOES OF

4..1 GRID COORDINATES USED ON THIS PROJECT WAS BASED ON ASSUMED COORDINATES MARKED AS "X" WITH COORDINATES OF THAN 15 NOR MORE THAN 40 PERCENT SHALL PASS THE 0.3 mm (N0.50) SIEVE, AND NOT MORE THAN 10 PERCENT SHALL PASS THE 0.15 mm (N0.100) SIEVE.

6.0 ELEVATIONS AND GRADES : by supervisor/ foreman, etc.

6.2 THE ELEVATIONS SHOWN ON THE ORIGINAL GROUND ON THE PLAN AND PROFILE ARE RELATIVE TO CENTERLINE OF THE ROAD. 14.1.c. Goggles, face shields, helmets and other comparable equipment are required to fit the eye and face protection needs of the employee for each job.
14.1.d Hard hats and steel-toed safety work boots/ shoes must be worn by all employees at all times where required.
7.0 ROAD CONNECTIONS AND PRIVATE ENTRANCES : 14.1.e. Appropriate gloves, aprons and boots are to be used when necessary for protection against acids and other chemicals which could injure employees' skin.
7.1 APPROACHES AND CONNECTIONS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED BY THE CONTRACTOR AS SHOWN ON THE PLAN OR A DIRECTED BY THE 14.1.f. Respiratory equipment in many cases is needed for protection against toxic and hazardous fumes/ dusts. Supervisor must verify which equipment meets the need for breathing
ENGINEER IN SUCH MANNER AS TO ENSURE SMOOTH CONNECTION AND RIDING QUALITY. safety. Only MSHA/ NIOSH approved equipment will be used.

PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE PROPER AUTHORITIES. 14.2 ALL PERSONNEL WORKING ON OR ADJACENT TO A ROADWORK SITE SHALL WEAR APPROPRIATE HIGH VISIBILITY CLOTHING. THE TRAFFIC SAFETY VEST IS
8.0 AGGREGATE SUBBASE COURSE : DESIGNED TO MAKE WORKERS MORE CONSPICUOUS AND TO WARN ROAD USERS OF THEIR PRESENCE.
8.1 THIS ITEM SHALL CONSIST OF FURNISHING, PLACING AND COMPACTING AN AGGREGATE SUBBASE COURSE ON A PREPARED SUBGRADE IN ACCORDANCE 14.3 THE VEST BE WORN OVER NORMAL CLOTHING AND PROPERLY FASTENED SO THAT THE ENTIRE AVAILABLE AREA OF HIGH VISIBILITY MATERIAL CAN BE SEEN IN
WITH THIS SPECIFICATION AND THE LINES, GRADES AND CROSS-SECTIONS SHOWN ON THE PLANS OR AS DIRECTED. ANY DIRECTION.
8.2 AGGREGATE FOR SUBBASE SHALL CONSIST OF HARD, DURABLE PARTICLES OR FRAGMENTS OF CRUSHED STONE, CRUSHED SLAG, OR CRUSHED OR 14.4 TO MAXIMIZE EFFECTIVENESS THE VEST SHOULD BE KEPT CLEAN AND IN GOOD CONDITION.
NATURAL GRAVEL AND FILLER OF NATURAL OR CRUSHED SAND OR OTHER FINELY DIVIDED MINERAL MATTER. 14.5 THE TRAFFIC SAFETY VEST SHALL BE MADE FROM FLUORESCENT RED/ ORANGE MATERIAL. THE VEST SHALL ALSO HAVE AT LEAST TWO STRIPS OF YELLOW
8.3 THE AGGREGATE SUBBASE MATERIAL SHALL BE PLACED AT A UNIFORM MIXTURE ON A PREPARED SUBGRADE IN A QUANTITY WHICH WILL PROVIDE THE RETROREFLECTIVE MATERIAL FRONT AND BACK. THIS SAFETY VEST MAXIMIZES FLEXIBILITY IN USE DURING DAY AND NIGHT. THE SAFETY VEST SHOULD HAVE
REQUIRED COMPACTED THICKNESS. WHEN MORE THAN ONE LAYER IS REQUIRED, EACH LAYER SHALL BE SHAPED AND COMPACTED BEFORE THE A SECURE FASTENING, PREFERABLY ZIP.
SUCCEEDING LAYER IS PLACED. 14.6 THE JACKET MAY BE WORN OVER WET WEATHER CLOTHING. ALTERNATIVELY, WET WEATHER HIGH VISIBILITY CLOTHING SHALL BE MADE FROM WATER PROOF
9.0 ROAD SIGNS : MATERIAL MATCHING THOSE PROPERTIES INDICATED ABOVE FOR COLOR AND RETROREFLECTIVITY.
9.1 ROAD SIGNS SHALL CONFORM WITH THE LATEST MANUAL ON PHILIPPINES ROAD SIGNS (REVISED EDITION) OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
15.0 DRAINAGE STRUCTURES :
PUBLIC WORKS AND HIGHWAYS, TRAFFIC ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT PROJECTS.
15.1 LOCATIONS OF EXISTING DRAINAGE STRUCTURES REFLECTED IN THE PLAN WAS BASED ON THE TOPO SURVEY.
10.0 PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE PAVEMENT : 15.2 EXACT LOCATIONS, GRADIENTS OUTFALLS AND TOP AND INVERT ELEVATIONS OF DRAINAGE STRUCTURES SHALL BE CHECKED AND VERIFIED IN THE FIELD, DURING
10.1 IT SHALL CONFORM TO THE APPLICABLE REQUIREMENTS OF ITEM 700, HYDRAULIC CEMENT. ONLY TYPE I PORTLAND CEMENT SHALL BE USED UNLESS CONSTRUCTION BY THE ENGINEER, ALL PIPES SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM COVER OF 0.60M. FIELD ADJUSTMENT MAY BE MADE BY THE ENGINEER TO SUIT ACTUAL FIELD CONDITIONS.
OTHERWISE PROVIDED FOR IN THE SPECIAL PROVISIONS. 15.3 EXTENSIONS AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS OF EXISTING DRAINAGE STRUCTURES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND SHALL BE VERIFIED IN THE FIELD BY THE ENGINEER.
10.2 THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PREPARE THE DESIGN MIX BASED ON THE ABSOLUTE VOLUME METHOD AS OUTLINED IN THE ACI 15.4 PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF RCPC AND OTHER DRAINAGE STRUCTURES. ALL MATERIALS MUST BE TESTED AND CONFORMING WITH THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION.
10.3 THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE QUALITY CONTROL OF ALL MATERIALS DURING THE HANDLING, BLENDING, AND MIXING AND PLACEMENT 15.5 THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF ANY MATERIALS INSTALLED AND FOUND TO BE DEFICIENT IN WORKMANSHIP AND QUALITY OF WORK.
OPERATIONS. 15.6 INLETS AND OUTLETS OF NEW AND EXISTING CULVERTS TO BE UTILIZED SHOULD BE CHANNELIZED AND CLEARED OF DEBRIS IN ORDER TO HAVE A SMOOTH FLOW OF WATER.
