1. Identify a major computer manufacturer and examine the vendor’s newest desktop
system and portable system. Prepare a report explaining the specifications for both
systems including additional information from sources such as opinions, articles and
reviews.

DELL
Dell is a world-class computer maker. It designs, develops, and sells computers through its
retail stores and online. Michael Dell founded the company in 1984. He has since become the
CEO of the company. It has expanded streamlined service to meet customer demand with
more efficiency and innovation. As a result, Dell is a company trusted worldwide. It is also
one of the best computer companies. Dell has earned its reputation through quality products
and services, including delivery on time.
Dell has started Green Packaging and Recycling project in which it named Dell EcoStruxure.
It is a program that helps the company manages its environmental heritage. The program
involved the integration of new solutions in the manufacturing and supply chain. This
includes a recycling process for used products of Dell.
3D printing project is another excellent example of Dell’s environmental track record. In
addition, it offers customers a choice of performance products lower in carbon dioxide
emissions.
It works with non-profit organizations to ensure that its products and services are sustainable.
Dell Inspiron is a Windows 10 laptop with a 15.60-inch display that has a resolution of
1920x1080 pixels. It is powered by a APU Quad Core A6 processor and it comes with 8GB
of RAM. The Dell Inspiron packs 1TB of HDD storage.
Graphics are powered by Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi
802.11 ac, Bluetooth, Ethernet and it comes with Mic In, RJ45 (LAN) ports.

report to be submitted to your boss, the human resources manager, comparing the
three programs and recommending the best.
There are a number of publishing programmes but the user has an option of choosing either
depending on the particular task he or she wants to partake for instance consideration has to be
made whether one is publishing in print of digital formsts such as newspapers, magazines,
brochures, ebooks, blogs, and online publications. These solutions allow for the proper alignment
of text and images, according to publishing guidelines or user preferences. Users can utilize
premade templates or create pages from scratch by using a drag-and-drop page builder. Desktop
publishing software can be used by any organization that deals with the publishing of print or

RECOMMENDATION TO THE HRM

For the case of our organization I will recommend that that we go for the dell computer and
consider the above specifications.
Since our organization prints volumes of manuals and journals I will recommend that we install
Adobe InDesign for our desktop publishing.
