the engine cooling system caused by the use of non-genuine engine coolant. First replace at 90,000 km (54,000 miles)/60 N
months, then every 60,000 km (36,000 miles)/48 months. Perform “I” (checking the mixture ratio and correcting the mixture
ratio if necessary) at the middle of replacement interval.
• (5) If engine power decreases, black exhaust smoke is emitted or engine noise increases, perform this maintenance item.

Maintenance for off-road driving (4X4 only)
Whenever you drive off-road through sand, mud or water as deep as the wheel hub, more frequent mainte-
nance may be required of the following items:
• Brake pads and rotors
• Brake lining and drums
• Brake lines and hoses

• Free-running hub grease
• Differential gear oil, transfer fluid and manual transmission gear oil
• Propeller shaft and drive shafts
• Steering linkage
