SEX
My concept of sex is that it is a
biological attributes to every
human, that means having xy
and xx chromosomes which
refers to male and female that
cannot be change because it is
natural when the person was
born. The only thing I knew
about sex is refers only to male
and female but when I start
taking this subject, it gives me
knowledge that there is also an
“intersex” (XXY) people that
has both male and female
characteristic including gonads,
genitals and etc .
LEARNING LOGS
GENDER
My concept of gender is that
refers to the socially
constructed characteristics like
behaviors. These includes
identities like transgender,
gender neutral, and non
binary. Gender can be express
on how the way we behave and
the way male and female
dress. This can also change
over time because it varies
from society to society which
means it only came on the
group of people in a society
who share particular qualities.
This subject changes my whole
concept of gender, it gives me
knowledge about social roles,
actions and task that society
sets for women and men, and
the standards of how people
should act and socialized
based on their sex.
SEXUALITY
My concept of sexuality is that
it describes on a persons
sexual preferences and
orientation whether a person is
gay or straight, lesbian,
polysexual, and asexual. It also
refers on how we understand
our bodies of our own self as
well as our relationships toward
each other, our sexual feelings,
thoughts, likes and dislikes,
practices and identity.
This subject change my whole
mis-interpretation concept
about this terms by helping me
to become aware and educate
me about sexual behaviors of
sexuality. In our daily lives
sexuality is very important to
figure of we are and there is no
right or wrong of that .
