Measure of the side:

Perimeter
Area
P = 4s
L×W
P = 4(124cm) A=

P = 496cm A = (124)2
A = 15,376 cm²

Plane Geometry

Length: 62 cm Width: 42 cm

Perimeter Area
P = 2 (L + W) L×W
A=
P = 2 (62 cm + 42cm) A = (62 cm × 42 cm)
P = 208 cm A= 2604 cm²

Shape of geometry

[Solid Geometry is very important in life because everything in our surrounding are composed of
different things with different shapes and forms. Everything that our naked eye can see are related to
geometry.
What role do shapes play in everyday life? Learning shapes helps people to developing their
reading, math, and science skills as well as their understanding of other signs and symbols. It also
helps people to recognize and organize visual information.
Everything that we see today is a result of geometry, and everything that we do that has a shape
simply gets a measurement based on our needs. This is very helpful because geometry is what gives
beauty to both the outside and the inside of our lives, and without it, it’s almost as if there is no
longer a world. It is very valuable because it is one of the things that beautifies and makes what we
see with our eyes. Almost everything we see outside and inside the house has a shape.
Shape it is extremely valuable since it is one of the factors that makes what we view with our eyes,
practically everything we see outside and inside, more beautiful and appealing.
