Teotihuacán is a large Mexican archaeological complex northeast of Mexico City.

Through the
center of the place, which was once a flourishing pre-Columbian city, passes the Calzada de los
Muertos. This unites the Temple of Quetzalcóatl, the Pyramid of the Moon and the Pyramid of the
Sun. Construction of the city began in 100 BC, where the construction of the Pyramid of the Sun
began. In 250 BC, the city expanded its territory and flourished as one of the most important
settlements. Teotihuacan was built of pyramids, temples and palaces that were covered in stucco
and adorned with brightly colored murals. There were public and administrative buildings and
various residential neighborhoods. Teotihuacán was a cosmopolitan city that hosted a
considerable number of foreigners. I chose this place because it is very interesting that an old city
becomes part of the culture of Mexico since this way we know more about how everything was
before and that perhaps the cities of now will be a cultural place in the future. In this place you
can visit the archaeological zone and the pyramid of the snake. To get to Teotihuacan you can take
a bus, a car or a plane, the best thing would be by plane because the road is very long and it is very
dangerous to travel so many hours on the road. If I visit this place I will climb the pyramids and
take many photos. If I lived in Teotihuacan, I would walk through all the archaeological sites that
there are and investigate their history since it is very interesting. I have planned to travel to many
places and I hope I can. When I graduate I will travel by car through Mexico and I will know more
about the culture, I will visit the beaches and eat the different dishes of the states, I am more
excited to visit Cancun and Oaxaca for its beaches but also Michoacan since when I went years ago
I really liked the climate and forests.
