Make your very own ladybird Christmas decoration!
You will need:
• A sheet of card
• Scissors and something
sharp to poke a hole!
• Something to colour
in with
• Glue
• String

1. Cut out the wings and body below by
following the dotted lines and stick
them onto some card - then cut both
shapes out of the card.
2. Colour both sides of the ladybird’s body
in black and her wings in red. Don’t
forget to add black spots to her wings!
3. Ask an adult to help make the hole on
the ladybird’s back to add your string
through later.
4. Fold the wings! First, fold along the red
line so the wings are folded in half.

5.Then fold along both yellow lines to
open the wings out in the opposite
direction.
6. Add some glue to the inside of the
ladybird’s wings along the red line fold.
7. Position the ladybird’s head between
the wings before pinching both of the
sticky sides together.
8. And finally, thread your string through
the hole and you’ve made your
ladybird decoration!
