NOTIFICATION

Sufa international university college always strives to enhance academic quality via
rigorous testing and practical learning blended with coursework. To achieve that, we try
to make students go through assignments & assessments (practicals, quizzes,
presentations and term projects).

It has been observed that some students show non serious behavior regarding class
attendance and assessments. In that regard, a meeting of the QEC (Quality
Enhancement Cell) was held on 22nd of June of October 2023. After careful
consideration, it has been decided that:
1. Students who fall short of overall attendance below 70 percent benchmark will
be penalized by heavy fines. The fine levied would be Rs.300 per percantage
point until benchmark is reached.
a. For example, if some student has an overall attendance of 62% thereby
falling short by 8%, the fine levied would be 8 x Rs.300 = Rs.2400/-.
b. Job holders will not be spared from this penalty except for those who get
their approvals from their relevant Head of Department (HOD).
2. It is mandatory to take all assessments (assignments, quizzes, practicals,
presentations & term projects). No job holder would be spared from assessments
(practicals, quizzes, presentations and term projects) penalties. It is mandatory
upon all to submit the assessments in time. In ability to take these would be
penlized as follows:
a. Every assignment / presentation missed would be penalized by a fine of
Rs. 300 per assignment.
b. Every quiz missed would be penalized by a fine of Rs. 500 per quiz.
c. Every term project missed would be penalized by a fine of Rs. 1000 per
term project.
 d. In case of Mid-Terms:
i. Absence from Mid-terms would be penalized by Rs.3000/- per
mid-term retake exam
ii. An F Grade in Mid term would be penalized by Rs.1500/- per
mid-term retake.
iii. Clearing all mid-term exams is mandatory upon all to appear in final
term exams.
3. Note that clearance would be done twice a semester
a. First clearance would be done before mid term exams
i. Without this clearance, no student would be able to appear in mid
term exams.
b. Second clearance would be done before final term exams.
i. Without second clearance, no student would be able to appear in
final term exams.
