Other Remuneration Food & Accommodation will be provided by the employer. Medical
Insurance will be provided.

Air Ticket One way air ticket will be provided to resume work and return air
ticket will be provided on successful completion of two-year contract.

Work Hours Since employee will be permanently based on board fish collector or
freezer vessel, work schedule shall be determined by Vessel Captain.
Must be willing to work odd hours and holidays.

Contract Period Two years (3 Month Probation)

Chief Engineer
Qualifications & Experience

 COC for not less than 1500KW. (ATT 3 or ATKAPIN I)


 Degree level or hold any other qualifications associated with maritime
engineering.
 Class 1 certificate of competency among other qualification defined by
origin of candidate’s maritime administration within STCW convention
 Must have worked Chief Engineer & 2nd Engineer in Freezer reefer/
merchant ship minimum 3 to 5 years.
 Should be physically fit to work on board.
 Should be fluent in English & written, able to do computer works.

2nd Engineer
Qualifications & Experience

 COC for not less than 1500KW (ATT 3 or ATKAPIN I)


 Class 2 Certificate of competency among other qualification defined by
origin of candidate’s maritime administration within STCW
Convention
 Must have worked 2nd Engineer in Vessel/ merchant ship minimum 3 to
5 years.
 Should be physically fit to work on board.
 Should be fluent in English & written, able to do computer works.

Refrigeration Engineer
Qualifications & Experience

 Bachelor of engineering (Mechanical, refrigeration & Air condition)


Other qualifications defined by origin of candidate’s maritime
administration.
 Must have 3 to 5 years working experience as Reefer man/ Reefer
Engineer in Reefer freezer ship.
 Preference will be given on who worked in brine freezing system such
as purse seine Vessel.
 Must have all certs valid on sea going.
 Should be physically fit to work on board.
 Should be fluent in English & written, able to do computer works.

Cook
Qualifications & Experience

 Cook should have knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures,


be able to follow recipes accurately, have good time management skills,
and be able to work well in a team environment.
 Must have 2 to 5 years working experience in vessel.
 Should be physically fit to work on board.

Oiler
Qualifications & Experience

 Should be fluent in English written and oral.


 Should be physically fit to work on board.
 Should be able to lift and move heavy objects.

Deck Crew
Qualifications & Experience

 Should be physically fit and able to handle the demand of the job, which
may include lifting heavy loads and working in cold temperatures.
 Should be able to work on fish collection, loading and unloading.

Job Responsibilities

Chief Engineer
Job Responsibilities

 The chief engineer on a freezer vessel is responsible for managing and


overseeing the vessel's engineering department and ensuring the proper
operation and maintenance of all machinery and equipment.
 Responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment on the vessel
are properly maintained and repaired. This includes the vessel's engines,
generators, refrigeration systems, and other critical equipment.
 Responsible for ensuring that all engineering systems on the vessel are
following safety regulations and that all crew members are trained in
proper safety procedures.
 Must keep accurate records of all engineering operations and provide
regular reports to the vessel's captain and management.
 Responsible for managing the vessel's engineering crew and ensuring that
they are properly trained, motivated, and working together effectively.

2nd Engineer  Responsible for supporting the chief engineer in ensuring the safe and
efficient operation of the vessel's refrigeration and propulsion systems.
 Assisting the chief engineer in the maintenance and repair of the vessel's
refrigeration and propulsion systems, including the main engines,
generators, compressors, and refrigeration plants.
 Monitoring the performance of the vessel's refrigeration and propulsion
systems, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
 Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, as
well as any spare parts and supplies that are needed for the operation of
the vessel.
 Conducting routine inspections of the vessel's machinery spaces to ensure
that all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
 Maintaining a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with all
applicable safety regulations and procedures.
Refrigeration Engineer  Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the vessel's refrigeration
and air conditioning systems.
 Inspecting and maintaining the refrigeration and air conditioning systems
on the vessel, including the compressor, evaporator, and condenser units,
to ensure their proper functioning.
 Conducting regular checks on the temperature and pressure of the
refrigeration system, and monitoring the system's performance to detect
any issues that may arise.
 Repairing or replacing faulty components, such as valves, pumps, and
motors, to ensure the system is operating safely and efficiently.
 Maintaining an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for
the repair and maintenance of the refrigeration system.
 Ensuring that the refrigeration and air conditioning systems meet all
relevant safety and environmental regulations.
 Participating in the installation of new refrigeration and air conditioning
systems as needed.
 Communicating with the chief engineer and other members of the
engineering team to ensure that all necessary repairs and maintenance
tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

Cook  Planning menus and preparing meals for the crew, taking into account
any dietary restrictions or preferences.
 Maintaining inventory of food and supplies, and placing orders for
additional provisions as needed.
 Ensuring that all food preparation and storage areas are kept clean and
sanitary, and that food is handled and stored safely.
 Operating kitchen equipment, such as ovens, stoves, and microwaves,
and maintaining these appliances to ensure their proper functioning.
 Coordinating with other members of the crew to ensure that meals are
served at appropriate times and that all crew members are able to eat on
schedule.
 Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the galley and other food
preparation areas, in order to prevent the spread of disease and
contamination.
Oiler  Lubricating and maintaining the machinery on board the vessel,
including the engines, pumps, and generators.
 Monitoring the performance of the machinery and equipment, and
identifying any issues that may arise.
 Assisting in the repair and maintenance of the machinery as needed,
including the replacement of faulty parts and the cleaning of the
machinery.
 Assisting the chief engineer and other members of the engineering team
as needed in the operation and maintenance of the vessel's machinery.
 Participating in safety drills and emergency response exercises and
assisting in responding to any emergencies that may occur on the vessel.
 Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to all safety
regulations and procedures.
 Must also be able to work effectively with other members of the
engineering team and respond quickly and effectively in the event of an
emergency.
Deck Crew  Standing watch on the vessel's bridge, monitoring the vessel's position,
speed, and heading, and assisting the vessel's officers in navigating the
vessel safely.
 Operating the vessel's deck equipment, including winches, cranes, and
fishing gear.
 Sorting and grading the catch as it is brought aboard, and storing the
catch in the vessel's refrigerated holds.
 Assisting in the loading and unloading of Fish under supervision of
Bosun
 Maintaining the vessel's exterior, including painting, cleaning, and
repairing the hull, decks, and superstructure.
 Responsible for a wide range of tasks related to the maintenance and
operation of the vessel, and must be able to work effectively as part of
a team to ensure the success of the vessel's operations.
 Must also be able to work long hours and in difficult weather conditions
and must be physically fit and able to handle heavy equipment and
machinery.
 Must be able to perform other ad hoc works directed by the supervisor
which relevant to fishing operation.
