Title: The true love

Characters:
Bell: A princess in a distant land
Caleb: A charming prince
Lily: Bell's younger sister
(Scene: The royal gardens of the palace. Bell is standing near a fountain, lost in thought. Caleb
enters, carrying a bouquet of flowers.)
Caleb: (approaching Bell) Princess Bell, I've brought you these flowers. They pale in comparison
to your
beauty, but I hope they brighten your day.
Bell: (smiling) Thank you, Caleb. You always know how to make me smile. These flowers are
lovely.
(Caleb nervously fidgets with the bouquet as Lily enters, pretending not to notice them.)
Lily: (feigning surprise) Oh, Caleb! What a pleasant surprise to see you here.
Caleb: (taken aback) Lily, what brings you to the gardens?
Lily: (coyly) I was just taking a stroll, enjoying the beauty of the day. And who might these
flowers be for?
Caleb: (confused) Well, they're actually for Bell. I thought I'd brighten her day.
Lily: (pretending disappointment) Oh, how sweet of you. I suppose I'm not deserving of such
gestures.
(Bell observes the interaction, growing increasingly suspicious.)
Bell: (thoughtfully) Caleb, would you excuse us for a moment? I would like to have a word with
my sister.
(Caleb nods and takes a few steps away, giving them some privacy.)
Bell: (calmly) Lily, I saw you hugging Caleb earlier. Can you explain what happened?
Lily: (acting innocent) Oh, that? It was nothing, Bell. Caleb and I bumped into each other, and
he hugged me out of politeness.
Bell: (skeptical) Lily, I know you better than that. There's something you're not telling me.
Lily: (nervously) Well, alright. I may have arranged the encounter. I thought Caleb might be
interested in me, and I wanted to see if he would return my feelings.
Bell: (disappointed) Lily, you should have trusted me enough to be honest. It wasn't right to
deceive both Caleb and me.
Lily: (regretful) I'm sorry, Bell. I didn't think it would go this far. I just wanted to know if he liked
me.
(Bell takes a deep breath, composing herself.)
Bell: (firmly) From now on, let's promise to be honest with each other. Secrets and deceit only
cause pain and harm the bonds we share.
Lily: (teary-eyed) You're right, Bell. I never wanted to hurt you. I'll make it right with Caleb and
apologize for my actions.
(Bell and Lily embrace, reaffirming their sisterly bond. Caleb approaches them cautiously.)
Caleb: Is everything alright, Bell?
Bell: (smiling sincerely) Yes, Caleb. Everything is fine now. Lily and I have had a heart-to-heart
talk, and we're committed to being honest with each other from now on.
Caleb: (relieved) That's good to hear. I value the trust we've built, and I wouldn't want anything
to come between us.
(Bell takes Caleb's hand, reassuringly.)
Bell: Don't worry, Caleb. Our friendship is strong, and it will withstand any challenge. Let's move
past this incident and focus on the future.
(Caleb smiles, relieved, and the three of them exit the garden, ready to rebuild their
relationships with newfound honesty and trust.)
