The Employment Standard Code enlightens us that in every situation or scenario, there is

an equal law that should be addressed. I have learned many things in the previous activity
regarding the Standard Code, especially in dealing with overtime work and pay. There
are two things that catch my attention in the Employment Standard Code. These are
paying earnings and employment records.

The first one that I want to discuss is the payment of earnings. We already know that
earning money makes us live. We should know the pay periods, payment of wages,
overtime pay, and general holiday pay, payment of the minimum wage, ways of paying
earnings, deductions from earnings, and notice required before earnings are reduced,
which is under Employment Standard Code Division 1: paying earnings.
For example, you have been employed by a certain company, and they have already
discussed the payment and payment period of your earnings, but they have failed to do
so. That will be the time the standard code will help you understand your right as an
employee. Wherein, under the standard code division 1: Paying Earning Section 7(1)
Every employer must establish one or more pay periods for the calculation of wages and
overtime pay due to an employee. (2) A pay period must not be longer than one work
month. 1996 cE-10.3 s7
And second, the employment records. This is very important for every company. The
records of their employees Why do we need to record regular and overtime hours? It will
keep you attentive, you will have the ability to be a responsible employee, and you will
improve your ability to concentrate.
