Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to apply for a Schengen visa upon my intention to travel to

Switzerland from December 20th 2019 to 05th January 2020.
The main purpose of my travel is to visit the magnificent sights throughout
Switzerland, as well as experience the Swiss cuisine and learn the European
culture and way of life.

I plan to start and end my journey at Frankfurt, Germany and during my 16

days stay in Schengen area; I wish to spend 2 days in Brussels, Belgium; 3
days in Rome, Italy; 6 days in Zurich, Switzerland; and 1 day at
Luxembourg. I also look forward to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve
at Rome and Zurich respectively.

I am employed at The Kerala Minerals and Metals LTD (A Govt. Of Kerala

Undertaking PSU) in Chavara, Kollam, Kerala State, India since July 2014,
currently holding the position of Plant Engineer (Production). My employer
has already approved my vacation from work for the entire duration of this
trip.

Please, find the following documents to support my visa application:

1.  Visa application form, duly dated and signed with attached passport-size
pictures.
2. Passport, showing my travel experience.
3. Travel Insurance.
4. E-ticket reservation for my flight via Emirates Airline for Kochi  –
Frankfurt – Kochi [December 20th 2019 -January 05, 2020
5. Hotel reservations for my entire 16 days of travel.
6. Employment NOC and leave certificates showing approved leaves.
7. ITR, Payslips, Savings/ Salary Account, Term deposit accounts as proof of
my income

● December 20, 2019 – Flight from Kochi to Frankfurt via Emirates Airline
EK533 & EK45. Arrive in Frankfurt and stay at Savoy Hotel.
● December 21, 2019– Travel from Frankfurt to Brussels, Arrive in Brussels
and stay at Floris Ustel Midi Hotel.
● December 22, 2019– Sightseeing in Brussels.
● December 23, 2019– Travel from Brussels to Rome, Arrive in Rome and
stay at Alessandro Downtown Hostel
● December 24, 2019– Sightseeing and spending Christmas eve in Rome
● December 25, 2019– Sightseeing and spending Christmas day in Rome
● December 26, 2019– Travel from Rome to Zurich, Arrive in Zurich and
stay at Youth Hostel Zurich.
● December 27, 2019 - Sightseeing in Zurich.
● December 28, 2019 – Sightseeing in Zurich.
● December 29, 2019 – Travelling to Lucerne for sightseeing and return
back to Zurich
● December 30, 2019 - Travelling to Bern for sightseeing and return back to
Zurich.
● December 31, 2019 – Spending New Years Eve in Zurich.
● January 01, 2019 – Spending New Year day in Zurich.
● January 02, 2019 - Travel from Zurich to Luxembourg, Arrive in Livange
and stay at Ibis Budget Luxembourg Sud, Hotel.
● January 03, 2019 - Sightseeing in Luxembourg City and Travel to
Frankfurt and stay at Savoy Hotel.
● January 04, 2019 - Sightseeing in Frankfurt.
● January 05, 2019 – Return flight from Frankfurt to Kochi via Emirates
Airline EK46 & EK530.
