Living with Family and Living in a Student Accommodation

The stage of a person's life is their time as a student, which helps to lay the groundwork for the future.
The choice of where to live must be made by students at some point in their lives. Either they want to
live at home with their parents or they want to live independently. There are noticeable differences
between living with family and living in dorms for students.

Students who live at home have time to think about their careers, but they have to give up part of their
privacy. Living at home gives the advantage of having the time to sit down and give their career
decisions serious thought. Students can take their time to figure out their passion and to choose the
actions necessary to obtain the profession they truly desire. Additionally, students who live at home
don't have to worry about paying for rent, food, or tuition because parents provide all of this. Parents
care for their kids, so they want to know what their children are doing on a daily basis. As a result, the
confidentiality of students is compromised and they receive a ton of uninvited advice on how to conduct
their life.

Conversely, Living in accommodations teaches students to be self-reliant and how to get by in the
outside world. When students live on their own, they have less time to consider their careers and must
act quickly. Students typically become more independent in regard to their professional choices as a
result of this. The majority of students who live in dorms handle their own expenses because their
parents do not assist them. As a result, they get less time to study but their right to privacy is not
interfered with. Living alone enables the students to step outside of their comfort zone and increases
their learning of how to survive in the real world.

Although there are both benefits and drawbacks to living at home versus in a dorm. Students must
decide where to reside taking the circumstances into account. For students, there are significant
distinctions between living in the home and living in hostels.
