Dear Prospective Employer-

Mr. Jonathan Maria Sanchez has served as a seasonal (H-2B) employee at my Mexican restaurant, Taco
Trio, for the last six months. During that time, Jonathan has proven himself to be a very good-natured
team player who gets along well with all other employees and focuses on his work.

He is friendly, conscientious, and respectful of others. He demonstrates care and cleanliness with
equipment and materials. With regard to taking customers’ orders and putting together take-out meals,
he demonstrates thoroughness and attention to detail.

Initially Jonathan was brought on board for back-of-house responsibilities: food prep, dishwashing and
some cooking. However, as his proficiency with spoken English improved, we transitioned him more to
front-of-house responsibilities which were more to his liking and more suited to his personality. He is
very friendly and enjoys interacting with customers, so he spent most of his work-time as a cashier and
in the position of handing off completed meals through the take-out window. In those roles he could
assist customers directly, answer questions, provide additional items to customers and fix any mistakes
made by the kitchen in preparing the customer’s meals

Jonathan has proven himself to be very flexible and adaptable. I believe he will make a strong addition
to your team, particularly in a hospitality setting.
