I. OBJECTIVES

A. Learning Competency: EN7G-IV-f-6.2: Formulate who, what, when, where,why


and how.

B. Learning Outcomes: Identify how WH-question are being form.

C. Learning Objectives:

At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:


identify the different form of WH-question;
construct questions using WH words correctly;
Distinguish the differences and similarities of WH-question through Venn
Diagram; and
Apply WH-Question in a Role Playing.

Content Standard: The learners demonstrates understanding of: contemporary Philippine


Literature as a means of responding to the demands of the global village; various extended text
typs; lexical and contextual cues; approprete and polite oral languages, stance, and behavior; and
use of imperatives, prepositions, verbs and wh-question.
Performance Standard: The learners learning by; explaining the need to be cooperative and
responsible in today's global village; using appropriate strategies to comprehend extended text
types; using lexical and contexual clues to understand unfamilliar words and expressions; using
imperatives, preposition, and appropriate and polite oral language, stance and behavior in various
information-sharing formats.

A. INTRODUCTION

Motivation:
Activity: "The Magic Box and the Mystery Question"
Direction: All of the students will take part in the activity. The teacher prepares a short activity,
and the title of the activity is "The magic box and the mystery question." The teacher gave the
students 5 minutes to watch a short story about the Heritages by Lamberto Gabriel. After they
watched the short story, the teacher gave the box to the students, and as music plays, the box will
be passed carefully to their seatmates. When the music stops, the person who is holding the box
will pick a question about the short story that they watched and answer it. It will continue until
the questions inside the box are empty.

ANALYSIS

The teacher must give the students time to read the question and answer it based on
their own ideas and opinions.
