Currently, the Company has operations in Lagos and Delta States of Nigeria.

Mechanical Technician Profile

Our ideal candidate for the Mechanical Technician position should possess the
following attributes:

• Thorough knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in mechanical engineering tools.
• Good knowledge of computer-aided engineering.
• Strong mathematical aptitude.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities


• Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems
• Daily routine monitoring and observation of the performance of all the rotating
equipment at the Production Facility and Field Office.
• Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as
performing repairs on equipment such as generators, export pumps and air
compressors at both the Production Facility and Field Office.
• Implementing mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment
breakdowns.
• Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical service records.
• Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment
settings.
• Carry out first-line maintenance exercises on LACT unit for effective crude oil
export e.g., cleaning of Autosampler from debris, cleaning of debris from the
strainer for effective crude injection and general housekeeping exercise.
• Carry out planned preventive and corrective maintenance exercises on pumps,
generators, and air compressors (e.g., cleaning, leaking joints greasing and
replacement of faulty pressure gauges, topping lube oil, and replacement air
filter)
• Monitoring the availability of spare parts and replenishing supplies.
• Must possess good knowledge of minor electrical repairs, installations of fitting,
and equipment preventive maintenance.

Qualifications
• HND/bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other related degree.
• Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
• Ten (10) years experience working in the mechanical engineering field and at
least three (3) years working in the Oil and Gas industry.
